Darren Oliver signs with the Texas Rangers Id say at this point, Seattle ia definitely the favorite to win the AL West. The Angels havent gotten much done, except for adding Hideki Matsui and locking Abreu up for 2 years. Lowell was coming off an injury marred season... and wait so is Beltre who dealt with an injury to his nuts this past season

I just dont think the Sox have another big signing in them. Heard on weei that their current payroll sits at $162 million, that doesnt account for raises in salary for the younger players. This is the highest the payroll has been since 2007. Going forward it will be trades and small signings

I didnt say I was all for it. How Theo keeps touting "bridging the gap". Maybe theyre willing to stick with Kotchman up until trade deadline as a fill in, before a potential Gonzo deal In that case, Im surprised they didnt garner any interest in Nick Johnson
