    Yeah because the NY Post is a valid argument of why a Yankee should be picked over a Red Sox as the MVP I just find it funny how he says "oh well Jeter wins a lot of games". Apparently he doesnt understands how Ortiz's 39 HRs/108 RBIs (tops in majors), 5 game winning hits, 29 go-ahead RBIs is not at all common And its quite preposterous you are saying he'll cool off. His first 3 seasons with the Red Sox has seen him do power surges in the 2nd half. Yes a big part will play with the voters of how he was robbed of the MVP last year. I remember most voters saying "oh well this was just a career year for him, how could he get better?" What he is doing as DH is like none other.

    It didnt help any last night with Hansen's struggles continuing of allowing a plethora of baserunners EDIT: Wells did show a more encouraging outing just wasnt helped by early run support (yes Fossum is the new Kazmir/Rodrigo Lopez/Ted Lilly for the Red Sox), Ortiz's error at 1st base led to 4 unearned runs, Javy somehow didnt getting Greg Norton. Just a lot of bad luck Ugh but Jason Johnson staying with Boston is nerve-wrevcking to say the least.     Well theres also the fact that he knowingly cheated to achieve the single season record for HRs and now is trying to top Hank Aaron for most ever Its just like OJ, everyone knows he did it but he is able to slip through the cracks somehow

    Barry Bonds is on a much higher level than those 2. At least Giambi out right admitted to it that he's been juicing Yankee fans might love Giambi & Sheff, but I havent seem them pull a fit like this if one of them was tossed out of the game at Yankee Stadium.
