  1. http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/prospects/hotsheet/264617.html Jed lowrie made the prospects hot sheet once again. The kid has been on fire this year from Double A to now Triple A. He's been playing more games at 2nd now, where he is best suited. With him knocking at the doors, a trade could happen during the offseason (Mets a possibility with Castillo on contract year?) Season line (111 games) 124 for 410 (.302 avg) (.402 obp) (.517 slg) (.919 ops) 39 Doubles, 8 Triples, 11 HRs, 61 RBIs, 71 Runs, 68 Walks, 75 Ks, 5 SBs
  2. Great win, Beckett comes closer to being the Sox's 1st 20 game winner since 2004. he's just f***ing money. Love the offensive showing tho I am seeing 10 hits, 10 walks, oh well they got enough to win. Every now and then Drew has a game that we hope was the start of seeing the way he's capable pf playing. Hopefully last night was it Had the matchups in my mail box but forgot to send them to anyone to post for me while i was off in Boston. Just for kicks I'll post the updated matchups Beckett this season vs Baltimore in 4 games, 2-1 with a 3.45 ERA. At Camden yards in 2 games, 2-0 with a 2.16 ERA. On the road in 9 games, 8-1 with a 1.65 ERA
  3. Boo for me getting sick and having to leave at the bottom of teh 5th inning of the Sea Dogs game I guess at least I got to see the Spinners walkoff. Like Coco said, Capellan looked solid as he went 6 innings while striking out 3. He did give up 1 run but that was helped by 2 errors in the inning (pickoff attempt, throwing error on sac fly). The scouting report rang true as he kept pounding the strike zone sometimes having quick 1-2-3 innings. I was also very impressed by newly drafted Adam Mills. His fastball sat in the low 90s but its sneaky and the hitters were acting like it was 95. He went 3 scoreless innings, striking out 3, and got the Win
  4. Coco has the day off, Drew in center, Hinske in right, Wily Mo pouting in the corner Schilling this season vs Baltimore in 3 games, 1-0 with a 2.49 ERA. At Camden Yards in 2 games, 1-0 with a 0.69 ERA. On the road in 9 games, 4-4 with a 4.02 ERA Traschel this season vs Boston in 3 games, 3.33 ERA. At home in 10 games, 3-0 with a 4.24 ERA
  5. Since Kielty hasnt played since June 20 Im sure theyre are just giving him some ABs until they call him up. Again Im surprised he cleared waivers (only owed $580K), oh well this now allows the Sox to trade him to any team
  6. http://soxprospects.com/players/bates-aaron.htm Sweet... Aaron Bates, who has hit 23 HRs this season (some help by playing in Lancaster), has been promoted to Portland. Today's game will be his first as a Seadog. Memorable way to start off in Double A
  7. Bobby Kielty helped the Paw Sox rout Scranton 11-3, by adding a 2 run homerun
  8. Stanton. The Red Sox traded some go nowhere player for Mike Stanton from the Washington Nationals. It was just for the last 2 games of the season
  9. Tomorrow's game is now Beckett vs rookie pitcher Garret Olsen. Right off its the pitcher's advantage as it will be the Sox's lineup first view of this kid
  10. 17.42 ERA 3.1 innings, 6 Runs, 9 Hits, 2 Walks, 4 Ks
  11. Doing his best impression as Rudy Seanez, Mike Remlinger, and Blaine Neal
  12. 5 game lead is back f*** you Gagne
  13. Ya think Jacko?... huge double, you say?
  14. End of the threat. It will take some good pitching to make sure the top part of the lineup (no doubt speedy trio) to not score. If they get to the 10th, it will be Pedroia, Ortiz, Ramirez
  15. Oh and have fun guys trying to walk by Okajima who was in line for his 14th W
  16. Gagne you suck, all 4 runs charged to him If that ball didnt get by Drew, it wouldnt be tied right now. Those 2 are on my s*** list tonight
  17. This f***ing ********!! Get Papelbon in there Drew wtf, just stand there as the ball rolls by you
  18. Gagne is allowing a good share of baserunners early on in each of his appearances (8 Hits, 1 Walk in 3 innings)
  19. Its only fitting. In his last start vs Boston, Bedard's ass was saved on a 3-2 "strike" to Lugo with bases loaded/2 outs
  20. Ortiz beats the shift against a lefty, 4-1 mother f***er
  21. f*** yea Lugo!! 2-1, Dice is line for the W Gagne for the 9th, Papelbon for the 9th
  22. Lowell didnt start running hard until after Tejada had bobbled the ball
  23. Bedard at 95 pitches after 7. Considering his success against Youk/Lowell/Varitek (4 for 47), he should be good to go 8
