  1. D-Rays series coming up Wakefield vs Shields Lester vs Kazmir Matsuzaka vs Sonnastine 2 out of 3 might be asking too much from this black hole of a team
  2. 4 game lead tick tock... tick tock... this team is ready to implode
  3. I guess here's some good news, with things not rosy as flashbacks of 2006 start to come full force
  4. I got too spoiled from Ortiz being clutch in the late innings, this year he has been nothing to write home about EDIT Good job Lowell. 14 baserunners on the night, with 3 runs to show for it. Snyder for the 10th...
  5. If Gagne pitches the 9th, even if its the bottom 3rd of the lineup, I'll be holding my bible
  6. No pinch run for Hinske, Lugo forgets to bunt, great showing guys
  7. yay he got the last 2 outs Hey gagne you hear those boos? All for you! I want that ringing in your head, making it hard for you to sleep tonight
  8. f***ing fastball right down the middle of the plate 2 games of this series, Gagne has denied W's for Dice-K and now Schilling
  9. I questioned Okajima getting pulled cuz righties were coming up... thanks Tito
  10. yay double play by Manny, his 19th of the season?
  11. Last 2 games they have had 19 Hits, 12 Walks... 31 baserunners has led to just 9 runs
  12. The ump gives it to Lugo after faking a hit by pitch, that pitch was clearly a ball
  13. Epic AB by Tek s***** one by Hinske
  14. I laugh at the posters who were clamoring to sign Zito instead of Matsuzaka
  15. Last 3 outs by the O's were made on 3 consecutive pitches, pathetic but Ill take it gladly
  16. Damn Lugo, he's been on a very good pace since the all-star break
  17. And that wouldve been 3-1 possibly
  18. Thats what Im f***ing talking about Manny! Manny says excuse me to Lowell as he takes over the lead in RBIs for the team. He is also now 6th all time in RBIs (790) by a Red Sox, passing Jimmie Foxx EDIT: And now he gets himself thrown out, youre not Kenny Lofton
  19. Sox's negative theme of the season is "lets strand runners!" Great job Lugo wouldve been an inning ending double play but now its men on 2nd & 3rd with 1 out
  20. Are you just going on prediction of todays game that the Orioles crush Schilling? His career 3.95 ERA against them and 3.56 ERA in 2 games this year say otherwise that he gets "crushed". Traschel yes has done well vs Boston (helped by sox bats getting him out of jams), and theres always the Orioles pen
  21. Curt should be back strong, but somehowTraschel brings his career 1.40 ERA in 3 starts against Boston. I call this a W for the Sox, it will be a joke if they lose 2 out of 3 to the O's with their 3 best pitchers starting
  22. I just dont get that Bucholz rising to Triple A in 2 years is bad management of prospects. While Yankees prospects making their debuts after a year being drafted, is no problem/no worries
  23. With an upcoming double header, the Yankees will call on top pitching prospect Ian Kennedy to start one of the games. Surely I thought Jeff Karstens wouldve gotten as the ball as there would be no need to do a roster move. So much for Jacko's gripe on bringing up prospects steadily. Both Chamberlain and Kennedy were drafted last June http://www.nypost.com/seven/08122007/sports/yankees/kennedy_could_start_vs__birds_yankees_george_king.htm
