  1. Damn once I saw Julio coming in, I thought this will be very interesting. Sure enough his bad control does him & the Rockies in, trailing 8-6 after a 2 run HR by Scott Hairston
  2. Awards to follow for thus far one of the best seasons in recent memory. Aside from the playoffs, there is more to come Josh Beckett is sure to garner agood share of Cy Young votes Dustin Pedroia seemingly should right now be making room on his mantel for a Rookie of the Year Award Gold Gloves? Coco Crisp should also be heavily considered
  3. Lackey at Fenway Park-- 7 games (1-4, 7.46 ERA) 35 innings, 59 Hits, 36 Runs (29 ER), 7 HRs, 12 Walks, 27 Ks
  4. Ill be very surprised if the Angels force a game 5, especially with the Sox having home field Beckett vs Lackey Schilling vs Escobar Matsuzaka vs Weaver **Beckett vs Lackey **Schilling vs Escobar
  5. Mets have the worst collapse of not reaching the playoffs since the 64 Phillies. Oh yea a lot of changes are coming in this offseason Question, which NL team scares you guys the most?
  6. Great season guys, 96 Wins f*** yea. Even with this loss I saw a lot of positives. Not a lot of teams can say their bench put Nathan to the wire, bases loaded 1 out. Who knows what wouldve happened if Ellsbury didnt run past 1st base. Solid pitching performance, loved what I saw from Lester in his 2 scoreless innings. I really hope that the Sox consider Ellsbury starting in center or at least a platoon of him and Crisp. 3 days until the playoffs!! Kudos to Theo making sure 2006 would be a complete after thought
  7. Seriously... Drew is one of the best hitters for the Sox I loved hearing at the game last night is that a new chant is starting up. As is it is with Youkilis, Yooooouk. Each time Drew had an AB, catch, the f***ing homerun , I would be hearing Drewwww The 2007 Sox MVP well thats Mr. Mike Lowell
  8. Damn... Mets and Pillies tied for 1st place, big game pitcher Tom Glavine on the mound against the Marlins... he only gets 1 out and the Mets are already trailing 7-0 Drew gets the day off, Ellsbury makes his first major league start in right field Garza this season on the road in 8 games, 3-2 with a 2.79 ERA Tavarez this season vs Minnesota in 1 game, 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA. At home in 13 games, 2-6 with a 4.97 ERA
  9. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-jetsfan-patriotslawsuit&prov=ap&type=lgns A Jets fan season ticketholder is filing a lawsuit against Belichick and the Patriots. Because Jets ticketholders were deceived from 2000 to the present, 8 "fraudulent" games in his words... he and his lawyer have determined that $184.8 million is deserving to be paid for what is consumer fraud
  10. The Sox are tied with the Guardians for the best record. Really all they need to do is win 1 of these last 2 games of the season, as Boston would clinch homefield because of the season series record
  11. All the Angels can do is ride whatever their offense can accomplish. The rotation is iffy to do anything big. Lackey will be the game 1 starter. The Sox are the team he doesnt want to be facing, especially at Fenway Park. He's a Cy Young to everyone else but something doesnt go right when he heads to Boston. Escobar is having injury woes and might not be able to start in the ALDS. Bartolo Colon would then have to step into his place. Sox should take this in 3 or 4 games
  12. Had these saved, might as well post them. They have been updated Hell of a game for Dice-K to step up http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/sp/getty/fc/fullj.getty-73396938eg024_minnesota_twi.jpg Slowley this season on the road in 7 games, 2-1 with a 6.12 ERA
  13. Well Im fully awake now As I was headed out of work at 430, buddy of mine called me over to ask if I wanted to go to a local bar to celebrate the Sox winning the divison. I didnt get home until 1 am. Man oh man when I started to hear cheering, I quickly looked up at the tv to see the Sox having their champagne celebration in the clubhouse and out on the field. Just f***ing adrenaline. It really has been an amazing year thus far
  14. Well this game sucked. The ace and the offense were lacking on clutch performances tonight, heres hoping they get a win tomorrow Matsuzaka vs Slowley Wakefield vs Silva Schilling vs Garza With the Yankees playing the Orioles, the Sox will have to take 2 out of 3 to avoid giving up the divisional lead
  15. Yuck this Twins lineup is making Beckett work, and then some. Hopfelly the Sox can take this one in the end
  16. Bonser this season on the road in 14 games, 4-7 with a 4.78 ERA Beckett this season at home in 16 games, 9-4 with a 3.98 ERA
  17. Phew, great way to come back Gagne deserves tomorrow off after having to throw 46 pitches the last 2 games
  18. Blanton this season vs Boston in 3 games, 0-2 with a 4.71 ERA. At Fenway Park in 2 games, 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA. On the road in 19 games, 7-6 with a 5.13 ERA Lester this season at home in 4 games, 1-0 with a 5.14 ERA
  19. f***ing A, 3 game lead, magic number at 3. Im loving it
  20. Gaudin this season vs Boston in 2 games, 0-1 with a 5.00 ERA. On the road in 18 games, 5-7 with a 4.85 ERA Schilling this season vs Oakland in 3 games, 2-0 with a 1.23 ERA. At home in 13 games, 4-3 with a 4.06 ERA
  21. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/recap?gid=270923125&prov=ap Bud Black wanted to avoid Bradley getting in a confrontation with the umpire, that he spun Bradley to the ground. The impact tore his acl, putting his season to an end.
  22. Well this is good news as any to come home to Sox go 4-2, there should be no problems
  23. Or facing the Florida Marlins in 2003, some 21 year old rookie named Josh Beckett led the way
