    If they're done right they look good, like on the Original six.     Anyone check wikipedia for Mayflies/Canadian Soldiers? They've since changed it... but it had been edited to say... Now it gives more of a discription of what happened. Yankees are f***ed. And I think we've seen the last of Gom for a while.

    The second one to Martinez was with two outs, though, so it doesn't fit what I was talking about, but I'll give you that one. The first one was Grady Sizemore in an earlier inning when the first baseman who's name I dare not try and spell tagged him out and held the runner. Sizemore and Hafner are great hitters... even with how good Pettitte is throwing you'd think they'd be able to wait until they get a pitch they can get into the outfield, no? And Cabrera's at bat... ugh. But Fausto Carmona's been incredible, so even with their offensive futility and Pettitte's smoke and mirrors s***, the Guardians still have a chance. Great catch by Sizemore! Wow!

    It's equal parts pathetic on the Guardians part and impressive on Pettittes part. But one player goes up and swings at a bad first pitch? Can't possibly give Pettitte credit for that one.

    Three Guardians batters have gone to the plate with a runner on third and less than two outs and all three times they failed to get the run home -- two of them were the teams best two players. Pathetic.

    They're here to stay for at least a little while. I remember hearing that these uniforms weren't "designed" for horizontal stripes to look good, and that any striping and piping on the jerseys would be vertical. Some teams apparently bought into this... but the original six teams didn't, I guess... all of their uniforms look as they did with the older template. I hear the same things about the uniforms... after a testing session or a practice or something where the players wore those uniforms a few months back, I remember reading about one player throwing his in the trash.

    It's what TBS does... they promote the hell out of their shows. This is a lot less annoying than when they did it with House of Payne, at least -- at least they have a bunch of different ones and this show actually looks funny. What do ya know... bunting the runner to second didn't work. Shocking. Why not hit and run? Then you'd at least have a chance for the ball to find a hole.

    Most of the new uniforms look like s***. I'm undecided on a few, but for the most part the original six teams that kept their looks are the teams that look the best. As for the NHL starting... didn't the NHL just end in June?

The idiot apparently failed another drug test, which means he'll be gone for a year if he doesn't win a court case against the league that would bar them from using his B Sample. On another note, pickup Selvin Young in Fantasy Football Leagues (not available in the Premo Talksox league thanks to yours truly)
