  1. The Rockies might suck, but tickets are wicked cheap. Beer is cheap too. The only problem is they suck, but when you in CO you have to visit the park. I live in Mass so I'm some what biased, but if your talking "best feeling/experiance" park it has to be Fenway...
  2. Ya my cousin hit twice as well. I could only go to one game though. $100 to see PITT, but it was worth it (plus parking, food, beer, ect)!
  3. You are Kevin Millar! You are very friendly and free-spirited which makes you a cool person to be around. You have a lot of charisma and have the ability to ease any tensions and allow people to loosen up. Oh well I'm actually happy with that even thou most people hate Kevvvvvvvvvvvvviiiin Millarrrrrrrrrrrr! I'm not a fair weather fan and Millar was big last year for us. I started chanting Keeeevvvvviiiiiinnnn Milllllaaaarrrrr once and havn't stopped since! I then was Curt Shilling, and then Theo.
  4. Humor right? I sure hope so!
  5. The Green Monster seats retail avg. is $100 and more for the big games. The tickets are bought through a lottery system. You submit an entry, if you win you then get a chance to purchase tickets within a short amount of time (minutes). I beleive you have to purchase them with your credit card and your name is saved on the Red Sox computers. If you sell the tickets and the people act like morons you can have your credit card and name black listed. I do have to say however that sitting up on the green monster during a game is a must at least once in your life. When I sat up there during a game early this season I had the best time ever at a red sox game.
  6. Not that 27 is old, but I am starting to feel old, LOL. SFOC - My package arrived today, the t-shirts are cool, the tickets are great. Thanks a lot I really appreciate it.
  7. bgcayouthnet.org watch it here - J. Damon Interview MMS URL The above website is a Boys & Girls Clubs of America maintained website that is for kids by kids. There are some impressive young men and woman out there getting to do interviews with some pretty big pros and celebs. I did the camera work during the interview (I'm no pro). Johnny was a nice guy and it was pretty cool getting to meet him and talk with him. The interview has a lot of stuff about the event that was taking place, but it also has some baseball questions. Enjoy....
  8. The New England Patriots released quarterback Rohan Davey, running back Cedric Cobbs and safety Dexter Reid. The release of Cobbs is somewhat a surprise, but I expected Davey to go.
  9. Player of the Game - Big Pappi no doubt!
  10. Oh babe! Kabe what a f***ing catch to help out Timlin! HUGE!
  11. J. Damon bruised no break! Good news I guess.
  12. OK get him out. I'm getting a little nervous.
  13. Fenway is almost empty. If anyone is within 5 mins of Fenway they probably can sneak in pretty easy.
  14. No s***? I had no idea. I always thought someone with vision in only 1 eye would have a hard time with sports. 2D vs. 3D... Very interesting to learn this. BTW - YOU ROCK!
  15. Correct OAK is at Fenway and I counted wrong and had 3 of 3 with a sweep. I'm now going with 3 of 4 vs. OAK still keeping my 98 wins prediction intact.
  16. Would be nice to find someone that might be a save guy if Foulke doesn't work out.
  17. Oh no doubt I agree with you, but I'm hoping to also reach my 98 wins prediction at work so I needed that sweep! A sweep right there would be HUGE though huh?!
  18. Ya Randy Johnson is wicked huge this year. I mean he might win the Cy Young award this year or NOT. The pin strips suck. Sorry normally I don't make anti-yanks remarks, but I coudn't resist.
  19. ooops 4-1 SEA Jason "Steriod" Giambi homers
  20. What is that pic all about LOL? Yankees update - 4-0 Seattle is at bat and winning in the 4th inning. Mussina struggled tonight and Small is in the game for the Yanks now. Looks like we might get back up to 2.5 games tonight. Rem-Dog needs to slow down on the Wiskey on game nights! Can Abe fix that hat? It should be a friggin MLB rule about the damb hats! Classless looking! Sorry for the loaded post....
  21. My ESP powers tell me the following. Make your prediction (or preminition) and let's see who is closest. Aug. 29 TB Aug. 30 TB We will take at least 3 our of 4 this series. Aug. 31 TB Sept. 1 TB Sept. 2 BAL Sept. 3 BAL 2 out of 3 Sept. 4 BAL Sept. 5 CWS (make-up) - This is where we steal one. 1 of 1 Sept. 6 LAA (I'm going to this game) Sept. 7 LAA We will win at least 1 game (the one I'm at), but I think 2 or 3 Sept. 8 LAA Sept. 9 @NYY Sept. 10 @NYY 1 of 3 Sept. 11 @NYY Sept. 12 @TOR Sept. 13 @TOR 2 of 3 Sept. 14 @TOR Sept. 15 OAK Sept. 16 OAK EDIT: 3 of 4 no more sweep due to miscount Sept. 17 OAK Sept. 18 OAK Sept. 19 @TB Sept. 20 @TB Sweep? 3 of 3 Yes 6 in a row and the lead over the NYY grows? Sept. 21 @TB WOW take a day off why don'tcha! Too bad the next game or the previous 3 where not at home. Sept. 23 @BAL Sept. 24 @BAL 1 of 3 Sept. 25 @BAL Sept. 26 TOR Sept. 27 TOR My powers tell me TOR pitching falls apart here. 3 of 4 Sept. 28 TOR Sept. 29 TOR Sept. 30 NYY Oct. 1 NYY Sweep the Yank's heading into play-offs. 3 of 3. Oct. 2 NYY If I did my math correctly this would finish us at 98-64. Yes it's "the glass is half full thinking", but I used to be a "s*** the sox will blow it", but the curse is gone and we will finish strong dispite the worries about pitching, closers, 1st base, ect. Keep the faith!
  22. Do you know how stiff a pitcher gets after that long? I play basketball and if I sit longer than 10mins I can't get up. Although I'm way out of shape...
  23. How long did Matt have to sit during the rain delay?
