Winners of the 9/6 game vs. LAA... Post some info on yourself. Maybe we meet before, during, or after the game. Me... I'm a 27 year old father of 3, married, work as a Teen Center Director, live in Marlbrough, MA. I've been a big fan of Boston sports since I was 7 (yes 7). In the mid 80's we had some good teams so they caught my attention quickly. I'm brining 3 other people from my work. We all just finished a long summer camp session and are getting ready for a long after-school year session. These tickets are exactly what I needed to award them for their hard work. They all work really hard with kids at work and get paid very little to do it. This is exactly what we needed to get us motivated for the school year... thanks Sox Fan on Cape, this is BIG! PS - I'll be wearing a green sox hat, a T. Brady Pats Jersey, and possibly some shorts (maybe).

GOTTA LOVE FOOTBALL! AFC East: Patriots - Face it they find a way to win and they'll win this year (the whole thing). Jets - Good Wide-outs... Can Chad use them? Martin will have another big yardage season. Bills - Rookie QB so who really knows? Great RB McGahee is going to have a huge break out season and become a star in this league. Dolphins - They will surprise people this season and not suck as much as people think. North: Bengals - You'll see some nice offense out of this team, although I'm not sure about their D. Steelers - Will be a solid team, but not a great team. Lots of wins, but play-off wise no excitment. Ravens - There D is getting older. The O sucks! They are overrated! Browns - They will suck............ South: Colts - Will be the best team in the league this year. Their O is obviously great and their D was a big surprise last year and will be even better this year. Texans - No longer a laugh on the schedule. Jaguars - I don't really know about these guys. Titans - Most "experts" are overrating this team. West: Chargers - I like them last year. Will Drew play as great as he did last year? If he does they are going to be a GREAT team. They will have the best TE and some great WR's on top of a top 3 player in this leage in LD. Fun team to watch. Raiders - A good team last year got better this year in 3 big ways. L. Jordan is a really good RB that just needed a full time starting roll, Moss obvious stuff, and then Kerry will become the QB he was suppose to be. He might have some INT's, but he'll make up for those by throwing a ton of TD's. The only issue might be thier strength of schedule. Broncos - They will be a good team surrounded by 3 other good teams in their div. Their schedule is below avg and their power rankings last year where up in O & D. Chiefs - It's all falling apart! NFC East: Eagles - A lot of crazy camp stuff, but they are in a below avg division. EASY SCHEDULE Cowboys - The boys are back... kinda. Giants - Will be better than last year. Redskins - Not gonna do it. North: Packers - If their D is better the team has to be better than last year. EASY SCHEDULE Lions - Will be way better than last year. Viks - Will be worst than last year. Daunte might struggle (not much, but a little). Bears - Their gonna suck. South: Falcons - Will be 2nd best team in the league this year. EASY SCHEDULE Saints - Will suck along with the Panthers and Bucs this year. Panthers - Injuries will destroy this team this year. Bucs - Gruden will be fired. West: Cards - Will be a fun team to watch. Kurt will have a come back season in style. Will be a fun team to watch. EASY SCHEDULE Seahawks - O will be desent, but D will struggle between no depth and injury prone it won't be a fun year on D. Rams - They are getting older and slower, but still will put up some big numbers. Their problem is NO D! 49ers - It's so sad to see them like this.

I've seen that formula and several others. How do we know which one is the right one.

I hope it allowed him to stretch a little and come on strong for the stretch run. Even though his control wasn't great he only walked one guy. 5K's is impressive in 5 innings.

I'm surprised he needed time off for something like this. I have one right now. The only thing I can think is that it's a real bad one and/or he is tired from the infection.

Trying to figure out which one works... I've gotten 2 different formula's. Which is correct? 162+1- 1st Place Team Wins - 2nd Place Team Wins = M# OR Games Left +1 = X / X -games ahead in loss column = M# Which one is correct? Both give me different M#'s?

There was an angle from the first base side of the play. They slowed it way down after the game. I then slow-mo'd it even more and I could see it frame by frame. It was pretty clear to me. Oh well moving on. This is a good arguement on why replay shouldn't be allowed in baseball. No doubt we'd be here 10 mins later still waiting for them to make thier decision. Even if this call went our way it would kinda suck waiting for them to check the film ect.

What! No way man. I'm sorry I'm not mad at anyone, but I just watched again on DVR in slow-mo along with the slow-mo on NESN so it was super slow-mo and I can see Tek gather the ball and his glove is on the runners knee, just before the runner touchs home. Now after saying that I can't amagine any umpire has super-slow-mo in his head and in live full speed he looks way out so I can't really complain honestly about the call (even if I am complaining). I hate loosing (especially against AAA teams).

I have to disagree with everyone on this. I really believe he was OUT. Hopefully they use technology to show us a close up shot of this. I'm sure MLB has instructed them already to not cause to much controversy over the play. I am also sure that it's the "professional" "mature" thing to do (agree with the call).

I have it freezed on the ball in the glove, with the tag, and the right foot of the runner is not touching home plate. God dam it.

WOW I watched it 3 times now on DVR and I think Tek got him. Not a great throw, but a good one.

I think MLB should just ban rain, LOL.

Manny has GIDP 15 times this season. I question how many has he run out hard? I know he drives in runs and he is a great player, but can you amagine how much more he could do for this team if he really hustled?

Timlin didn't do so hot, but I think he'll settle down and give us some saves until Foulke can get his s*** together. I never really thought Foulke was injured enough to go on DL, I always thought it was because he sucked. Hopefully he (Foulke) has found himself enough to get the job done.
