  1. Moeller didnt look bad at all in the spring, and I doubt Flaherty would come out of the booth. Not sure if u were serious or just kidding, but looks like we're stuck with Moeller for now. Hopefully Jorgie is doing better.
  2. ok so now that you've singled out A-Rod from players on your list of suspicion, how about Papi? And how about a real answer this time...
  3. Best backup catcher we've had in years. Glad to see him exert himself and show some heart, bad to know that Moeller is going to be doing most of the catching unless Posada is doing better.
  4. David Ortiz included? A-Rod has always done it, and is continuing to do it. Ortiz was hitting bitch-balls in Minnesota, when he did hit, before going to Boston and hitting bombs.
  5. He never said Clemens used steroids in his first book. And with your post "has Canseco been wrong yet," you're implying that you believe A-Rod used steroids, which without any evidence is a ridiculous accusation to make, as is saying that Davod Ortiz used steroids. If you guys are going to be morons and say things like that, then I'm going to point out a much likelier scenario of a player using performance enhancing drugs in David Ortiz.
  6. Damn. It's ok, we'll get u in the Bronx. 2 game set coming up this week, right?
  7. why dont you guys get a chat room or something. It's only 9:20, game started at 8, and there are 10 PAGES!!!! haha Thats another reason I hate posting during a game..
  8. Not to mention the personal vendetta Canseco has towards A-Rod. Win-win in so many ways for Canseco. Gets attention for his book, and gets to s*** on A-Rod all at the same time!
  9. up to 49 is the retired numbers for the Yankees. After that are the numbers of other Yankees who I like and admire and would like to see have their numbers retired. Some likely, others just hopeful.
  10. I see Hughes shutting the Sox lineup down on prime time Sunday Night Baseball.
  11. Have we heard everything Canseco had to say about it? Shut the f*** up...until their is more evidence it isn't fair to single out A-Rod when Papi probably used too. I only say that since you guys are being ridiculously stupid and throwing these A-Rod things out there. I've met people who sell crack and s***, wouldn't call them friends or anything, but I've met them here and there. Does that mean I use crack because whoever I was with revealed that he introducedme to them? And whether he did or didn't, he isn't now and is still in his prime. So just all of you do all of us a favor and stuff something in your mouth.
  12. It probably cost them more to dig it up.. I was all for it,but your fellow Sox fans on the board decided I should be dubbed with this for some reason. Talk to ORS, stk, and whoever else about it...
  13. lmao Youk.. I had heard the whole story was just ********, but apparently not. Hank wasted no time getting to the bottom of this one haha
  14. This actually turned out to be false. Nice though..
  15. Are you really trying to sell people on Bartolo Colon? Get real.. Both rotations have question marks, both rotations have strong vets, both rotations have kids. I hink theyre pretty comparable. Andy and Wang will be fine, as we've seen, except for Andys first start. Moose looked gooooood last time out, I guess we'll see tomorrow. Hughes, I'm sure, will be fine this year. For a rookie especially. Kennedy is a question mark. Hughes and Kennedy is like Lester and Clay. Dont even think that they're not....you're the one kidding yourself.
  16. Beckett is out there. So is Russell Martin
  17. I think they're quite comparable at this point.
  18. I dont necessarily watch games alone, I would just rather devote my attention to the game or the people surrounding me while I'm watching the game, not a computer. Maybe geeks wasn't necessary, but that's just how I feel about it.. Youre right though, Remy and Orsillo just couldn't do it for me..
  19. Molina has been exceptional! Couldn't ask for a better backup with Jorgie out. Not just behind the plate, he's been doing it with the bat too. He's not even a regular player and he's tied for the league lead in doubles.
  20. Usually do...I just prefer to enjoy the game when I watch it rather than discuss it as it moves along.
  21. Wang isn't consistent when it comes to sheer dominance, but he;s pretty consistent otherwise. You can count on him to more times than not take u deep into a game and likely give your team a w. What was the number they gave during the broadcast, like 17 straight starts that he went at least 6 innings or something like that? Maybe more than 17, I dont remember...
