At one time all of us had heroes in baseball. Growing up there was always that player (or players) who we looked up to and admired. Every single one of you. I know for years as a kid I loved Roger Clemens (Derek Jeter, Ozzie Smith, and Paul O'Neill were also included in that group for me). Obviously now, at 19, my feelings towards them, Roger in particular, are much different. I feel so much shame towards him. But the point I'm trying to make is you guys can go on your rants about players and how they don't give a f*** about you and everything, but don't be so ignorant as to ignore the past. At one point I'm sure some of you guys worshiped a Pudge Fisk or Yaz or maybe even for some of you Ted Williams., or WHOEVER!
Every point made is absolutely true, but to many youth and some adults these guys are icons, and it's tough for some to see things like this go down. The Mitchell Report for example, as embarrassed as I am to say it was tough for me. This was nothing, I dont give a flying f*** about Roger Clemens now. All he did was lie and cheat his way ito my heart for years and it's a pity. I still have those fond memories of standing in Yankee Stadium with goosebumps on June 13th, 2003when he achieved his 300th win, but f*** HIM! And f*** Mindy McCready and her ugly, busted up ass.
