    Again, I will say again. A-Rod did spend several years of his childhood in the Dominican. And your reference to the Olympics, look at 2004's Greek Baseball team. It was filled with Americans who they had apply for Greek citizenship. (Dont have the roster in front of me but remember reading a huge article on it prior to the 04 games in the Daily News. I know Clay Bellenger was on the Greek team). And I still dont see why on earth you guys are complaining about the players playting for countries of their ancestry. I think it's great. That is how yo properly promote the game. Little Arturo in Voltera liekly could care less about the WBC, but the fact that Mike Piazza, somebody who is pretty well known in Italy (due to charity work and MLB promoting in Italia), i'm sure he will pay a little more attention.

    But he certainly does have the range. I think it would be a waste to put him in left. But either way there is something wrong, if you put him in right, then you have a rightfielder without a good arm, if you put him in left, then you're wasting his abilities. But I guess that deciscion will be made when the time comes, depending on who the other outfielder is.

    I agree. We were so wiped out, physically, mentally, and emotionally after the ALCS that we just looked terrible in the World Series. Especially considering we had practically no break between the playoffs and World Series.

    I like to say NY has two MLB, NFL, NBA teams, and 3 NHL teams. The New York/Tri-State Area (New York, Northern Jersey, and Connecticut) is all covered by the New York media. That is also a big factor when debating sports cities. New York has so many more teams than anyone else it is ridiculous.

    I am sorry you feel that way. But in an effort to promote the game worldwinde I think it's great that MLB allows players to play for countires of their ancestry. I mean, Piazza playing for Italy is HUGE for the promotion of baseball in Italia. I have no problem with it. I think there is seriously something wrong with you if you think A-Rod was being hypocritical, and just f***ing the Dominicans. I know for me personally, if I was in that position, it would be just as hard for me. I think you and Ozzie Guillen need to grow up and get over it. And he also spent several years of his childhood in the Dominican. So it could be argued that he was raised there as well.

    If he gets blown away he could play in Boston or Texas? No New York? Clemens stated many times he wants to go in as a Yankee. Whether or not he still feels that way after pitching two years in Houston, I dont know. If he doesnt feel that way anymore, then the hell with him. Yeah, they can learn how to be media whores from Schilling and learn how to be party animals from Boomer. Great influences.
