A-Rod is the best all around player in the American League. He's just slumping. That happens. It's a part of life as well as baseball. Everything's gonna be ok.
Yup, the first one being the game on July 1st, 2004 when Jeter went into the stands on that pop-up and hurt his face and had to come out. We were completely out of infielders on the bench and had to moce Sheffield into the infield to play third, forcing A-Rod to play short.
After the game A-Rod said he would have preferred to have stayed at third, but considering the circumstances it wasn't a big deal.
