  1. Oh, and I highly favor the trade for the Celtics in getting Ray Allen. Yeah they lose the #5 pick, but they didn't want it, so use it and get another proven player. Great scorer, and will bolster the Celtics offensive attack. So now, teams won't load up on Pierce because Ray Allen will torch them if they aren't careful. I like this move by Ainge, I give him credit for this.
  2. You think trading Wally Sczerbiak for Ray Allen is a problem? I would go CRAZY if I was the Celtics brass and Seattle wanted to give me Ray Allen for the 5th pick and a few scrubs. Ray Allen instantly makes me a better team, even with Pierce and Allen being players who need the ball alot.
  3. Yeah. I think he's gone...ONLY for KG. Everything, lines up. KG's got the versatility and then some, of what we would lose from Shawn leaving. He also wants to come here, Phoenix is his first choice. Also, it's been talked about for awhile that Shawn will either be gone after this upcoming season, or he would be traded before it to get value for him. The reason that this has been a strong possibility is because Rovert Sarver doesn't want to go over the damn cap. So...I've slowly prepared myself for this, but I won't be totally sad if KG strolls to town. If we trade Marion for anyone but KG, I will go to a car decal shop and have them make me letters in BRIGHT orange font that say "Fire Kerr" and put it on my Explorer. Possibly something about Sarver too. I will also do that if we trade Amare AT ALL.
  4. Amare isn't going anywhere. D'Antoni would quit tomorrow if we traded him. Marion seems like the only guy we could trade. It's been a sad, but strong possibility for awhile now and it seems like a reality. I love Marion, and wish him the best on whatever team he lands on. But he will surely be missed and get a standing O by most (should be EVERYONE) if he returns in a visitor's jersey. NOTE: I'm not saying he's for sure gone. But it sure seems like his time left as a Phoenix Sun is hours
  5. I've been looking around tonight, and read that Minnesota wants expiring contracts and picks. The Suns are rumored to be close to trading Kurt Thomas and a future first round pick...for cap relief, BUT I read somewhere else that we are interested in getting their number 8 pick. That would help in the KG sweepstakes, if they want picks.
  6. I agree. Take advantage of the draft. Because, getting who the Celtics want, and who you want to give up do not add up to a trade that will happen any time soon.
  7. Isn't that K/IP ratio unheard of for a guy who throws in the low 90's?
  8. I was there, it was awesome. The "Let's go Red Sox!" Chants were also very loud and were drowning the few D'Back fans chants. It was, and I kid you not, probably 80-20 Red Sox Fans to D'Back fans, if even that. My section (right next to the Red Sox bullpen) was almost entirely Red Sox fans. I saw maybe 10. Also some dumb moron Yankee fan was leading a "Yankee's Suck!" chant...I couldn't believe it. And two fights broke out also. Couldn't tell totally because they were kinda far away but I saw a Jeter jersey leave shortly after the first one broke up, but can't say for certain he was involved. So, I tried to get tickets for tomorrow's game and the lady at the ticket booth said standing room only. And her reasoning was because of the Randy Johnson bobblehead giveaway. I couldn't help but laugh. The place draws 26,000 on a normal day and brings 40,000 when the Red Sox are in town and you're going to tell me it's standing room only because of a bobble head? Great game! Drew was awesome, Beckett was awesome. When Manny got beamed, all the guys around me were calling for Gonzalez to get nailed by Beckett, cause from our vantage point it looked like he got hit in the head. Good thing hes fine. Anyway, what a night! My first ever Red Sox game live, and we win huge!
  9. Maybe? Try again EXTREMELY. I'm not even going to get into that past series because I was pretty depressed for awhile. But I will say, that they had the refs in their corner all series, as well as the league office. Oh well, f*** them and go Pistons.
  10. Me too Kilo, Me too.
  11. I know the Spurs are dirty, have said it for years. Bowen's the worst, but they all are like that. Anyway, the suspensions are tough, but I still think Duncan and Bowen should be suspeneded also, but not for the Nash/Horry incident, but for earlier when James Jones and Francisco Elson got into it. Tim Duncan and Bruce Bowen were not in the game, stepped on the floor and were off their bench. Same should be applied. But it won't happen because the NBA is in the Spurs corner, and it's ********. So we'll just have to be extremely motivated and play with the crowd (its going to be absurdly loud here) behind us and get it done.
  12. I don't know the history behind the Celtics and their drafts, but if I was saying it was the biggest day of my life I know I'd have a dissapointment coming, because in short-term the Suns seem to be boring on draft day. But after I calm down from my screaming and ranting, I realize what they do is normally for the best. (I'm LOVING the Nate Robinson Q-Rich for Kurt Thomas trade right now )
  13. I don't agree with him getting it, Nash is a better choice. But it's w/e, I'd rather see the Suns lift the Larry O'Brien than Nash lift his 3rd in a row. And I'm sure he would too.
  14. They are that high? I was guessing more like 12 googleplex to one
  15. You'd date a Sox fan? EDIT: Welcome to the site!
  16. Send me an offer, I need pitching.
  17. Their tough, but you guys NEED to win at LEAST one maybe two more, wear the hell outta em. So we can rest up a little and beat the tar outta them. EDIT: Granted we have to handle our business with the Lakers tomorrow night, but seeing as how the Lakers pretty much gave up in game 7 last year, I'm sorta expecting the same thing this year, and if not that I think we should put them away anyway because it's at home.
