    Right and I don't think he will be the same pitcher down the road as suggested....sooner or later he will figure something out and have success....I just find it strange this guy had such great command of so many pitches and we are seeing the opposite on most days Average control and typically only has 1-2 maybe 3 pitches working well on a given night. Even the complete game he had...he threw his changeup twice (supposedly his best pitch)

    Stomach flu, new baseballs, learning the players, being in the AL, excuses excuses....I'm not saying I don't like the guy or want the guy.....I just don't know what happened to those pitches I saw from clips that were down right sick. I haven't missed a start from him and haven't seen those pitches yet. Certainly he can throw a fair amount of pitches, but they don't have knee buckling break, tremendous location, or exploding velocity...perhaps he doesn't get warmed up until later this season

    Bad game for Dice-K. I've seen a few games from him that show glimpses but for the most part I don't see the same pitches from him that I saw from clips in Japan or the WBC. He had nasty movement on everything but here....all of his pitches are hittable.

    This game/series has a feel to it that the Red Sox are flat and the Yankees are coming to life.....typical....my only hope is we maintain this lead in the standings then match up Beckett and Matsuzaka in the upcoming fenway series.
