    All-Star if he plays in the NL....I'm still not sure....I guess I can see him turn into a Mark Loretta/David Eckstein but I wonder how long it will take. Not a big deal because again we can deal with it. This team can survive easily even with the current 2B lineup.

    Whats the synopsis on Dustin Pedroia....after seeing this kid for a month and swinging the bat....is he out of his league? You can't expect any power out of him and right now any hits are simply a bonus. With the offense we can get away with it but....what are the chances he becomes an all star?

    I'd love to get Rich Harden. The Red Sox have some nice depth right now with the pitching so if he has some injury issues we could survive. I am not interested in moving a Jacoby Ellsbury but certainly a Wily Mo Pena. Clay Buccholz I would be concerned because he has the ability to really dominate. Some of the lower class guys (Michael Bowden, Daniel Bard, Justin Masterson, etc) then sure I would do it. Of course you know the injury bug is a huge issue otherwise why would he be available? The Red Sox would really have to do there homework on him and determine if they can find a way to keep him on the field.

    This is a great move for the NE Patriots and the best part was the restructured deal. Any issues with Randy Moss and he can be released. I really believe Randy Moss wants to win. The reason he was such an issue in Oakland was because the team sucked and his problems in Minnesota contributed to the play of Daunte Culpepper (a very overrated QB ). Randy Moss needs to walk into this situation understanding that he will not necessarily see the football more than anyone in a game but they will win.

    It should be Roger Clemens. He has to see everything is lined up for him to make this an absolute monster rotation. The defense is decent, the offense is strong, the bullpen doesn't blow leads, and the rotation is the best in baseball. That being said I wouldn't be shocked if he went to the Yankees in an attempt to save the team and look like a hero. Has anyone able to see Lester pitch this season? So far I've only seen numbers and the last numbers from his AAA start are the best I've seen him produce at that level. Fastball sitting around 93-95? I agree with Francona, I didn't see that last season. I saw good looking changes and curves with an occasional cutter (most of them out of the zone on a consistent basis). I can see if his fastball is locating and with good velocity....his secondary pitches would be nasty. I would give him enough time so he is peaking on his control.
