  1. You're definitely from the YES boards. One guy on there claimed that when the Yankees caught the Sox he would be the first one to come over here and post. Question: Where is he? *snicker* Keep telling us that we'll be eating our own words, you told us that a month and a half ago as well.
  2. Sox score a run in the first when Ortiz grounds into a DP...Damon in from 3rd.
  3. I kind of agree. I'm not really a big fan of booing my own team or players on them, but I can see reasoning that some of these guys would be. Maybe booing Renteria will make him realize once again just how much the town of Boston expects from this team. Hopefully he doesn't cave under all of this pressure on him.
  4. Don't tell Yankee fans about prospects in the minor league systems...most Yankee fans didn't know they had one. ...And I guess they really don't.
  5. It's a little late to be talking about baseball as well, considering that I don't think the Yankees actually tried to field a team this year. Sometimes though, it's mandatory to give them their friendly scoreboard reminder.

  7. Good idea to merge all these threads, yeszir. [edit: for a spelling mistake.]
  8. YOU'RE A COMPLETE DUMBASS! You think the Braves aren't good right now? They're 24-19...I'll take their shots at the Bronx toilet anyday. The Mets are 23-21. Once again, you claim Atlanta isn't a good team and the Mets are, yet the Braves are in 2nd in the NL East while the LOWELY Mets are in 4th. Let me quote a REAL Yankee fan that I regularly talk to about this weekends series, since you claim the Yanks didn't play bad baseball: And you STILL say the Yankees played good baseball? Dipshit. In the words of BigPapiEnFuego: http://redsox.eluid.org/images/2004-alcs-owned.jpg
  9. Day 2: AL 8 vs. NL 6 Day 3: AL 7 vs. NL 7 I tried to do an overview of this weekends play, so here it is: http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=drew_2k7
  10. Speaking of this weekend, I tried to give a brief overview of some of the things that went on this weekend during interleague play. If you didn't catch some of the other games, you might want to look at it: http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=drew_2k7
  11. What's scary is that if the Mets could spell either RELIEVER or DEFENSE, they would have won the series easily. Pitiful showing by the Mets after Pedro dominated your team through 7.
  12. So the question comes down to: Who do you want back, Mueller or Millar?
  13. Don't you also think that the Mariners will win it all? If I had to put cash down, I'd go with Detroit. They have a tough series with the Heat coming up, but they have a fantastic team that can go all the way.
  14. I'm glad Millar and the rest of our guys are standing up for him. I saw the interview on NESN today with Jason Varitek where V-tek stood up for Renteria as well. Boston is a tough town to play in, don't begin thinking that Rent is this bad....he's getting adjusted and in 4 years we won't regret signing him.
  15. Glad you were able to get tickets. I hope you and your son have a great time. http://www.talksox.com/forum/images/smilies/grin.gif
  16. Those words would have never been considered coming out of anyone's mouth last year. Speaking of last year, have you forgotten it? I don't even think Clement has a career winning record, muchless done anything close to what Schil has.
  17. See the "Feedback/Comments" section.
  18. I'll take Mueller....he's an underrated player that is fun to watch.
  19. Wow, what a game. Besides all the men LOB it was fantastic. Manny and Ortiz hit well, Clement pitched a gem and our defense was good. Thankfully this game didn't have the rain either. Good job Sox.
  20. Bah, I really wish we would have won today. Atleast then we would have guaranteed a series win.
  21. http://i.a.cnn.net/si/2005/baseball/more/05/19/perfect.game.ap/p1.ace.katie.brownell.ap.jpg vs. http://www.cbc.ca/gfx/topstory/sports/johnson_randy0518.jpg Wow, you're right.
  22. Rain is delaying tonight's game...yeszir, how bad does the weather look? The radar doesn't look very good. http://image.weather.com/web/radar/us_bos_closeradar_medium_usen.jpg
  23. BWAHAHAHAHA! Nevermind, she could take the place of Randy instead. Poooooooooooooooor spankees. http://www.redneck.org/piss.gifhttp://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/nyy.gif
  24. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! 6.2 IP to go along with 12 hits on 4 runs. Good job, Randy. http://sullystees.com/images/JOHNSON%20IS%20A%20DICK%20large.jpg
  25. This is an embarrassment. Astros losing 14-2 in the 6th. Damn frickin' Rangers.
