  1. How do you take a high changeup for strike three from a changeup pitcher. And now no A-Rod.
  2. Wow, great inning for Farnsworth. The Yankees have the heart of their order coming up. If they can just scratch across a run and then Mo holds down the Tigers, I can sleep well tonight. EDIT: By the way, if this game goes long, the Yankees really are not set up too well considering they've already used Ramirez, Joba, and Farnsworth. Memo to Torre here...DON'T BUNT! That will take the bat out of A-Rod's hands. EDIT 2: It's official, Joe Torre does not understand baseball.
  3. Yeah, I mean I realize he's facing lefties less than righties, but still, those numbers are extremely low. On top of that, it's pretty scary that his OBP is higher than his SLG, and it's not like it's by one point.
  4. Wow, Johnny is really a joke against lefties this year. Damon vs. LHP this year: .264 AVG, .344 OBP, .336 SLG, 1 HR, 11 RBIs EDIT: Oh my god, it's Crazy Kyle. I just hope Joba is not hurt, but it's more likely that they just don't want to lose him for two days. Well, he's in the dugout watching the game, so there doesn't appear to be any type of injury.
  5. That he did. Ugh, nice play by Inge. Lol, I'm thinking about calling in sick tomorrow, especially if they lose this game.
  6. OK, well, they didn't take that lead, but Torre did exactly as I thought he would do. Joba is going to have to get some tough hitters out here. EDIT: Joba is probably going to two innings here. If they don't win this is going to be a really bad game because you're essentially wasting him, considering this will make him unavailable until Monday.
  7. The Broncos and the Jets over the Ravens?
  8. Ugh, 1-2-3 for the Yanks. Clemens is really hanging by a thread here. Luckily he gets to face the bottom of the order, but if anyone reaches Granderson comes up, and he is 3-3 with two triples and a double. EDIT: It's Edwar for the seventh.
  9. Haha, so much for talking to myself.
  10. Well, the Yankees are still battling here. And, fortunately, Clemens managed to get through the heart of the order last inning. If the Yankees can scratch across a run in the next two innings and Clemens holds them in the sixth, Joe would probably go to Joba for two and then Mo in the ninth. EDIT: I should have realized this but considering it's 1:15 AM on the East Coast and the Red Sox are not involved, I'm talking to myself here. I have to be at work at 10 AM tomorrow, but I'm going to try and get through this whole thing.
  11. This is tough to watch, Clemens is really struggling. That being said, Cano has got to field that ball cleanly, and if he does, the score is still 4-3.
  12. Wow, Pudge doesn't understand how to take pitches.
  13. Never. Ever.
  14. lol, Kay is being a bit biased with the strike zone.
  15. Wow he's a great hitter. Have to use the fastball more if you're Roger.
  16. Glad to know we're speaking the same language. When you have guys like A-Rod that are simply unwilling to dive three rows deep in the stands changes need to be made.
  17. Everything has been up in the zone so far from Roger.
  18. The Yankees just aren't gritty enough. That's why they're in second place. They need more .250 hitters who are willing to run through walls for their team.
  19. I actually like to talk about the losses much more than the wins, and this is the only place where I post.
