  1. Very frustrating inning. The Yankees had the right guys up and Masterson was struggling.
  2. Hahaha I'll have the money to start a non-profit ... well, probably never.
  3. I'm with you ... I feel the same way about many Yankees fans.
  4. Well that's a big market for you lol. No patience.
  5. Yeah, UZR actually really likes Ellsbury. Every single other year his UZR was excellent ... that's more indicative of his abilities than his 2009 rating.
  6. Ricky Romero just does not show up against the Red Sox.
  7. As frustrated as I've been with a Yankees loss in a long time. Going away on 1-2 to Paulino was so stupid. You continue to go inside in that spot ... he'll never be able to pull the trigger on two strikes against Rivera's cutter. The execution there was not the issue. Mo hit his spot.
  8. Trying to hit that outside corner against Paulino in that spot is just really stupid. No other way to describe it.
  9. Players shouldn't go to the ASG just because that would make too many players from one team. Players should go because they deserve to go, regardless of what other players on their team have done.
  10. If you trust UZR, then AW's point is legitimate ... Cano's defense does hurt his value.
  11. Jeter and Cano shouldn't be there, and Martin, despite your feelings on him, is borderline. But the idea that two, or maybe even three, Yankees should be there that aren't is hardly ridiculous.
  12. Haha well it's more on the players than the managers. And you knew Washington, as any manager would, was going to take his own guy (CJ Wilson).
  13. Huge snub also with CC, but whatever. Assuming the Yankees stay on turn he wouldn't be able to pitch in the game anyway.
  14. Yeah, neither deserves to be there. But the system, which is flawed, is really to blame. Most fans are homers ... the Yankees just have more fans.
  15. If he can produce a wOBA around .340, that's quite good. As for his defense, it has been overrated by most, but the pitchers all say that they love working with him. Just because something like that can't be quantified doesn't mean it should be disregarded.
  16. Girardi really is so strange. He's willing to let CC throw 118 pitches, but he won't let him throw a few more to get Fielder, who's a great matchup for him.
