  1. Celebrate Minnesota. And drink, drink, drink.
  2. The only question I want David Wells to answer is what the hell happened in the 2003 World Series...
  3. Nice to know that this was the best game Orlando Cabrera has ever played in...
  4. Hahaha, awesome! Darling seemed to think the Twins will go with Brian Duensing tomorrow.
  5. Inge's play reminded me of Tex's play last year, and Casilla's hit reminded me of Lowrie's hit last year.
  6. Haha, well, I definitely agree. I've been saying that about his treatment of Verlander lately. My only point is that, in this situation, I thought having him face the Twins' best hitters last inning was the right move. Anyway, Brandon Inge is a heck of a defensive third basemen.
  7. I would wait until after Cuddyer's AB before having Gomez run, because of who is up after Cuddyer.
  8. Never said he didn't. Now this might be a little ridiculous lol.
  9. We both know that might have a lot to do with the fact that most managers only go to their closer for one inning. However, at this point, it's nothing but conjecture on both of our parts.
  10. He was also very good in those spots last year, only giving up two earned runs when pitching multiple innings. I think it's OK to go on the last two years when you're talking about something as specific as this.
  11. So far this year Rodney has pitched more than an inning five times (including tonight) and has not given up a single earned run.
  12. I understand that, but if I'm Leyland, I want to keep this game in the hands of my best reliever as long as possible. That's the same reason I wanted the Twins to bring Nathan in in the 8th.
  13. Galarraga and his 5.64 ERA? I'd rather extend Rodney a little bit. We'll see who he goes to next inning.
  14. I don't have a problem with that in this spot. Desperate times call for desperate measures. If not Rodney, who? Verlander?
  15. Absolutely.
  16. Huge risk by Granderson, but a fantastic play.
  17. Wow. Still Rodney.
  18. I really want to see Verlander or Jackson. I would assume Leyland would go to Verlander because he is the better pitcher and because Jackson would pitch game one.
  19. This is probably one of the best games I've ever seen. From the bottom of the seventh inning on this has been incredible.
  20. What a terrible call by the announcer. If Casilla had scored that would have been exactly like 2007, except it was hit to left field. A line drive, sac fly to win it.
  21. Squeeze time? EDIT: Scratch that.
  22. So similar to 2007.
  23. Matt Tolbert is so awful.
