  1. A decent amount of Yankee hitters just look lost at the plate.
  2. It's pretty amazing that the Yankees have scored four runs tonight when you consider the fact that, in six innings, they have only hit one ball hard.
  3. Probably looking at one of the most important moments of the series to this point.
  4. Once Howard leaves the playing field he's automatically out if he didn't touch home.
  5. Extremely soft two runs, but A-Rod wishes he had that one back. Missed a cookie.
  6. It was a bad call, but Posada needs to come up with that cleanly. If he does Howard is out.
  7. Two excellent pitches on Utley's thumbs.
  8. Didn't end up mattering, but Posada has to catch the baseball. Him dropping the 2-0 pitch to Ruiz probably cost the Yankees a strike.
  9. Well, it's kind of irrelevant because I said "Wild Card era", but the Jays used four starters in the World Series that year anyway.
  10. Damon is really awful defensively. First he gets a bad break on a ball he should have caught, and then dives when he has no chance at it. Anyway, Sabathia made a mistake to Utley and threw a lot of pitches, but he seems to have much better command than he did in game one.
  11. The Yankees are officially going with a three man rotation the rest of the way. EDIT: Which means the Yankees are trying to do something that has never before been done in the Wild Card era.
  12. I know, notice the asterisk. My comment was about society in general.
  13. I love how people actually care about the personal lives of celebrities. *Not directed at Spudboy. I understand the joking nature of the thread.
  14. Example, how do the 2005-08 Yankees fit into that category? They made the playoffs in three of those years, and finished with the fourth best record in the AL in the other year (while playing in the toughest division in baseball). Also, they hardly went through a lengthy rebuilding process. I get that they are able to avoid this because of their money, but your example simply does not make sense.
  15. That's fair. Well, in the coming years, they're going to count on Robertson to be one of the main setup men. So we'll see what he's got.
  16. There is absolutely no reason to respond with that kind of sarcasm. I wasn't implying anything. I was asking you a question.
  17. What do you consider to be a garbage inning?
