  1. The one good pitcher they have, gone. Wow they really can't catch a break.
  2. What an idiot. Make the pitch better, I saw the highlights, half of his breaking balls had no snap to the at all.
  3. At this point we shoulsd just let Olderdude start when he can and let Petagine start when he can.
  4. There is reason for hope on Schilling to be the ace soon but not right now. Looked very strong in th elate innings though.
  5. You're kiddin right? Saying "f*** you" to Yankee fans? Everyone knows he wanted to sign with the Yankees during the offseason, they didn't want him. The Yankees has thier chance to sign him and passed, so he went to the next team that made him the best offer, that team happened to be the Red Sox. He didn't say "f*** you" to Yankee fans by signing with the Sox, anybody would have done the sam thing.
  6. I would jump on you for saying this, but I think sara and elsrbueno would enjoy it more.
  7. What the...? Hellllllll no. Bandwagon jackass, wasn't this guy banned?
  8. I actually think it would make them better. Cano hits like .257 against lefties, Bellhorn can spot a start here and there with a LHP on the hill.
  9. It's not true, he was probably doing something that his contract says he wasn't supposed to be doing. Like Rocco Baldelli blowing out his ACL "playing wifle ball".
  10. I'm worried about this game Kazmir kills us and I really don't tihnk we can expect much in Schilling. I say sit back and hope the Yankees lose.
  11. That doesn't matter Bonds wouldn't be the first or the last to come back from a knee injury. I mean jesus Randy Johnson doesn't even have cartilage in his kne anymore and he's still pitching.
  12. Because Schilling actually has a good reason for sucking. He had an injury to the ankle of his push off foot. The injury has clearly shown with his low speed fastball and crappy fall out on his splitter. There is still hope that he can recover fully and pitch like he did. Johnson on the other hand came with HUGE expectations, even demanding a 15 million dollar 3 year extension. He was supposed to be the ace of the staff analysts even picked him winning 30 games. The only health issuses that he has had is miss one start with stiffness in his back. Basically, there are some credible reasons to believe that Schilling can come back and perform, if any one has any good reason reason to say why RJ has a chace to right himself please let me know.
  13. Boomer fits in perfectly with the Sox, the exact opposite goes with the Yankees. Wells doesn't exactly fit in the whole "Pride of the Yankees"********. He does have a point about Mantle and Ruth though.
  14. I agree but that's beside the point because he's neevr going to get caught. He would still hit, and he would still play, and the Angels would absoloutly dominate.
  15. Too many descisions for a reliever, ERA way too high. I don't want him.
  16. I know this sounds crazy but I really am not worried about the Yankees. They have one good ocnsistant starter in Mike Mussina, everybody else is a crap shoot. Randy Johnson? Jackel and Hyde of pitching, but I do notice "Jackel" tends to come out more angainst crappy teams. Chacon? Been good so far, but how can you trust a guy who's only made a few starts? Al Lieter? Don't even get me started Jaret Wright? Hasn't faced a team worht talking about yet. Thier rotation is inconsistant at best, bats can only take you so far, especially when the team ahed of you is #1 in runs scored. And aren't we around the time of year when Torre blows out his two best relivers behind Mo (This year the lucky winners are Gordon and Sturtze). I just don't trust the Yankees down the stretch.
  17. There's a huge double standard in that. Put it this way, a black man calls a white man "cracker" or "whitey" jokingly or not does anyone care? No. Now if a white man calls a black man "niggger" or "negro" wether he is joking or not does anyone care? Hell yes. There would be a torch and ptichform mob outside his house in a few hours.
  18. Not really Red Soox lead in road attendance. I've heard "Yankees Suck" at plenty of away games.
  19. Tek is great for supporting Millar, gotta love loyalty. He's partially right too. Millars OBP is around .333 thats what getting on base 1 out of every three at bats? He definitly gets his fair share of walks, and see's a lot of pitchers during at bats. I'm not saying he doesn't suck, and I'm definitly not saying he belongs on the team, the negatives far out weigh the positives, but Tek has some valid points.
  20. Why Alvarez? Why not call up Hansen and give him a shot?
  21. I can now die and go to heaven I have heard it all.
  22. You're joking right? The guy only had an OBP of .609 a Slugging % of .812 and an OPS of 1.422. Nothing to worry about. Even scarier we wouldn't be able to walk him! Not with Vla behind him.
  23. If anyone can find a single post I ever made with "A-Fag" in it I'll pay them 100 bucks. I'll put this nicely, go away please.
  24. Personally, I'm starting to agree with the idea of getting rid of Francona. Brad Mills made a few good descisions last night that I don't tihnk Francona would have made.
  25. Papelbon has started 3 times, three. Everyone's talking like he's a bona fide starter. He's very flexible at this point, he has closer stuff, he's not going to be in the rotation after Wells' suspension, why not give him a try at the closer? It's not like he doesn't have expierience.
