  1. Francour is God, I would give anything to have him on the Red Sox. In 35 games he's hitting .362 with 10 homers and 30 RBI. He's alos got 10 outfield assists 10!! That's one behind the league leader who's been playing all season.
  2. Do you honestly believe RJ has any chance of "stepping it up"? The guy hasn't done anyting worht noting all season, hell he's given up the most HR's in the AL.
  3. I don't think the ball is the first thing on your mind when you've jsut won the world series after 86 years. But hey maybe that's just me.
  4. It won't be reduced, 5 games is the same as 1 game for a pitcher.
  5. I actually agree with A-Rod here, A-Rod has silently had a superb season. Ortiz is a great pick but I don't think he will get it.
  6. I tihnk there are a lot of possiblities to where Damon could go. Great lead off hitters at the level that he is at are hard to come by, he would be a grea addition to almost any tem. He would also help small market teams who need more people to come to games, the guy is publicity gold.
  7. This is not happening. At least I don't see it.
  8. This is shocking. Almost as shocking as when Pete Rose admitted he bet on baseball.
  9. Torre is sooooo far from the perfect manager it's not veen funny. The guy was blessed with great teams, he didn't win those rings at all. He's blown out more arms in the bullpen than legs that were blown off in Vietnam. Torre has no idea how to properly use a bullpen.
  10. This is true Remlinger should be gone by now.
  11. Thank god that is all I need to say, I expected him to bitch about this.
  12. I don't think the guy should be compared to Street jsut yet but he is supposed to be good.
  13. This is never going to happen if it comes down to 1 game, doesn't really effect anything.
  14. Yeah are we going to have enough 7 run leads by the end of the seaosn where we can find some use for him by the time he's "ready". We really have no use for Miller naymore, it would be best to put him on the DL, leave him there, and let him go sign somewhere else at season's end.
  15. Holy s***, it's Zenny!
  16. You're an idiot you know that? Edgar Renteria hits out of the #2 spot in the line up, the goal of the number two spot is to get on base so the #3 and #4 spots can hit him in, the fact that he plays small ball and gets on base actually helps the team more than it appears. Manny and Ortiz are leading in RBI you know why? Because Damon and EDGAR get on base in front of him. I swear the #2 spot in the lineup gets so little credit in the eyes of uneducated fans, and thats really too bad because great two hole hitter like Edgar do a great job and the average joe fan goes "OMFG this gui sucks!! Lets go tWadE for somOne who hits more home Runs and RbI" Stop posting and come back when you learn a little bit about the sport. By the way YankeesSuck great stat about Tejada leading the league in errors last year. Wasn't he in discussions for MVP last year? Yeah I'm pretty sure he was.
  17. Actully Tito "winked" but we get the idea.
  18. Wells should take his suspension now and let Wakefield pitch or something.
  19. That's right I forgot abou that hmmmm than maybe in center I dunno I'm sure there is a suitable CF out there.
  20. Somethings wrong with that kid, he has as much facial hair as I do, and I'm a hairy person.
  21. They won't I tihnk they all realize they are only 4 games up.
  22. Your radical ideas of "telling players what to do" include benching players for running into outs. You are an idiot, as dumb as Terry is, he's a better manager than one you would make.
  23. 2 innings with a huge lead is not a good way to forcast how a pitcher will pitch in the starting role.
  24. They are not resigning Damon, between Theo's low promised money and a heel of a lot of incentive style of signing people, and how much money/years Damon wants, there is no way Damon will be back. I agree with YanksHater I don't see us bringing back Mueller unless we plan on unloading Youk, which would be foolish. Who the hell said we need to resign Kapler? The guy has done good for us for a few weeks, but he sure as hell isn't an important asset to the team. Basically I would like to see an infield of Youk, Edgar, Pedroia, and Konerko though I tihnk Theo would pursue Huff more than he would Konerko. In the outfield I would like to see Manny, Mark Kotsay (highly under rated player), and Trot I would like the rotation to look like 1.Schill 2. Wells 3.Clement 4. Aj Burnett (Hopefully he talks to Pavano about how bad New York sucks and comes here, though it looks like he wants to go to Baltimore) 5.Wakefield
  25. He can't drop the hammer during big september series Wells pretty much decides when he serves it because he can appeal. I tihnk we're all getting a little to high on Pap here. He's done good in his first 3 starts yes but you can't really say how well he will or will not do he's still a rookie.
