    i always said oakland, then minny, then anaheim. unfortunately anaheim is there now instead of oakland. i want minny. sure we have to face santana twice, but that means they need to face schilling twice. its a tossup. after santana, we should be able to win 3 games, if not 2 once we beat him!!!

    i would rather face oakland beacuse they are shaky right now and we have smoked them this season. through 5 2/3 innings the angels are winning 8-0. looks like the angels will be up a game by the end of tonight.

    My respect for Pedro gets lower and lower with each complaint. I, for one, am sick of Pedro making the decisions on when he should come out. If he gets taken out too early, he throws a damn fit and the management is pressured to put him back in, which is what happened. We put Pedro back on the mound last night, and he gets lit up again. When Pedro is done, Pedro is done and he needs to recognize that, he is not super-human and has flaws just like every major league pitcher that pitches today. I am sick of Pedro acting like he is the only one that is playing the game when he is on the mound.

    vlad guerrero. he has carried his team, and like manny, his numbers speak for himself. if not vlad its manny. it wont be sheffield...he has nothing to carry and the yanks win championships without him.

    this is true, this is why the AL East is the best division in baseball. possibly the NL West too, dodgers/giants.

    i know, its a weird thing. texas and anaheim can be guaranteed not to win the wild card, but can still win the west, weird.... im happier knowing that we are guaranteed a playoff spot, WC or east, i dont care what happens in the other divisions. though id much rather have oakland or texas win it than anaheim (i want oakland to win it the most, we have played .900 ball against them).

    texas lost, so our magic number to eliminate them is now one win. the magic number is 2 for the angels if they win, 1 if they lose.

    tempers were flaring, it seems like this season has had the most amount of mixed emotions in games between the sox-yanks.

    please correct me if im wrong, but if i remember correctly as far back as i can (which isnt too far back, about 10 years) i think this is the first time (assuming they make the playoffs like they should) ive ever seen them in the playoffs in back to back years.
