lately i have been watching francona make decisions, and in the postseason, it seems like he has gotten smarter, or maybe he is just a postseason manager? any thoughts? i havent seen too many stupid moves so far....i think his pitching choices have been favorable so far, and moving around the lineup tonight was good too. what does everyone tihnk?

classless f***ing yankee fans. they dont deserve this anymore. this is not how u take a call, u do not trash the field. they can all go back to the hole they live in and do that. the umps are correct too, so that makes the fans even more wrong. damn yankee fans, always wrong.

i really think hell resign here. hes had it awesome here, the fans love him, hes a great pitcher, we all know it, and we all love him. that alone would make me want to resign at a place like boston. i believe we will resign him if the yankees go after him, which they will, and i have got to believe that he goes to the MFY or comes back here.

you replace him with doug mientkiewicz who has some experience at 2B. now THAT would be a good move.

and you shuold, but when you say the sox bullpen is in worse shape then the yanks bullpen you make the yanks look bad. we have gotten to your bullpen, thats where we are getting our runs. our bullpen has pitched ABOUT 14 SHUTOUT INNINGS. the yanks bullpen hasnt matched, and at the same time have been just as tired as us.

he hasnt had enough games off, and anyway, wakefield looked GREAT game 5. im not saying anything about game 7 until we win game 6. we havent won 6 yet guys.

hey, i like him :thumbsup:. anyway, you said clutch was only when u have a chance to close out a series. i believe jeter came through clutch in game 5 with that hit that scored 3. the yankees went ahead, and had a chance to close out the series. i agree with you on everything else. i think the yankees/redsox teams are more even than one better than the other, but i see your side of it. -
same here, what ever happened to mientkiewicz starting at second base?!?!?!?!? ill take my chances with him there other than blowhorn. ive had it with him.

i dont know about you guys, but i havent seen this team looking like they want it this year. the fans want it and the team should be ashamed of themselves going onto the field everyday and not looking like they want it everyday.

i know, im just saying thats the reason a lot of people wanted to face the twins instead. we wanted the yankees, we got the yankees. down 0-3 and blown out last night 19-8. its very disheartening.

yes i actually made it and brought it to the stadium last night. i would piss myself if i actually got on tv with a sign like that, but i dont realy expect it. if theres a game 5 look for it, it will be there. thank god for the tie game, we are finally getting on the offensive. mueller thrown out, when are we gunna learn not to test sheffs arm? my god, people he has a gun. but its still a tie game

i havent really heard any of this either, MANY of the sox fans i know have a TON of respect for mo. i respect him, and i expect other fans to realize that these were family deaths, and making fun of something like that to a person like him is just as bad as saying it to someone you know. -
people said the yankees too because it would be EASIER than the twins. i dont care who we faced, id take into consideration both of them, but i cant say i never secretly routed for the yankees to win. i did. remember, we won the season serise against a the yankees 11-8, and went 2-4 against the twins the whole season.

right, but we needed to win 3, not 4. and if we go down 3-0 i think its over. this team is the YANKEES, they are a GREAT postseason team. they will not lose 4 straight to the sox, especially when 2 of those 4 would have to be wins in NY. -

hahaha. anyway, in spring training in dodgertown, when the sox went there for the first time EVAR, i was there and millar smiled at me and started playing an air guitar. but the one thing about millar saying theyll sweep in a confident voice doesnt really convince me. millars the one that had the shirt that said we were gunna obliterate them in NY, we didnt.
