    as ive watched in the past, i dont think having lowe in the pen is an awful idea come post-season. i can remember that lowe has had some key moments in the post-season, including the wrap-up of game 5 of the alds last year in oakland, and pitched well in game 3 this year. thoughts?

    not to mention that this season has been full of wide ranged emotions. especially since every game i actually sat through between the sox and yanks ALWAYS had some sort of fight in it. the one i thought was incredibly stupid was when lofton elbowed mientkiewicz, it was an accident, neither one of them had to elevate it. but it is the sox/yanks, and there is hate flowing on the field.

    however we have struggled this season in anaheim, when we bring it back home we shouild be able to get 2 wins.

    i dont, i feel bad for white sox fans who only get to listen to other chicago-ers how good the cubs are even though they havent won anything. have u ever thought what it would be like if the yankees were in boston too and when you turned on the radio all you heard was the yankees? it sucks to be a w.sox fan in chicago

    pitching true, but we swept anaheim 3 games at HOME. we dont have that this time, and we have struggled over in anaheim. theyre offense is somewhat overlooked too, with the exception of vlad. but let me tell you this, if it comes down to a battle of the bullpens we are going to get knocked up bad.

    im sorry, but when it comes to the post-season, sucky pitching or not, the yankees always find a way to win. i also know that the yankees have completely owned the twins in recent years they have played them, playoffs included, but im too lazy too look up the stats. the yankees club has a huge amount of post-season experience too. im not sure about too many of the twins that do, and if they do, they dont have too much post-season SUCCESS, unlike the yankees, who do.

    if we win this round, i think its safe to say we will be in the world series. id rather face the yankees than the angels right now.

    seriously, i cant think of this right now. but i think opening and closing the season with the yankees is a good idea. biggest times of the season, the beginning and the end, is a great time to duke it out with our rivals. but it may mean nothing if we are no where close to them or something. it needs to wait for later. playing the cubs should be fun, i just wish it was at fenway. but im not going to into specifics about this, time to talk about the playoffs.

    his welcome means nothing, like anything else he posts on this board. welcome though. hope you find plenty of yankee haters here! for god sakes yankeehater, there were cooler ******* yankee fans here that are now banned that were cooler than you. i say ban you and bring one of them back.

    the jets have faced NO ONE of any competitive quality. the bengals are not that good of a team. yes they beat us 31-3, but that was pre season and we dont play our starters. second, they played the chargers. and that was a high scoring game. and today? the jets play miami, yet again not a good team. the pats have beaten the colts in impressive fashion and have beaten the cardinals, and won big time, and didnt let a bad team score 28 points.

    i dont hate joe torre. i think he is one of the best managers that has ever been involved in baseball.
