  1. gee george, are we finally putting money into something interesting and high-rewarding? i guess not...youre already ruined for life with money...
  2. shouldnt we be keeping these in the individual game discussion forums? o well whatever, kotsay just wanted to show the umps what manny did, and i dont blame him. but the fans were WAY out of line to make the park a dump like they did. look, i get pissed with calls too, but i dont f***in make fenway a dump. anyway, its not like that out woulda saved them from a loss..face it, we are a better team.
  3. damon is a key part to our success, but i mean dave roberts isnt bad at all. hes got more speed than johnny on the basepaths. it will be interesting to see what roberts can do for us. im pretty happy we got dave roberts in that trade now...
  4. would the MFY like it if a team wanted a forfeit from them because they didnt show up on time on 9/11? think about that ******* (******* directed to steinbrenner)
  5. guess so...o well, we need to remember though that lefties dont do too well in boston for some reason...thats why we have almost no lefties in our rotation, and embree is good proof of that
  6. HAHA LOL. i enjoyed that post zenny...unfortunately right now the yanks are beating the d-rays 5-1 because of penis (a-rod). they might as well call him penis...his names a rod for christ sakes.
  7. :harhar: :harhar:  u beat me to it man...
  8. yanks and d-rays tied at 1 in NY. go rays. hopefully we can bring it down to 1.5 games, and the yanks lose their extra game and we make it a solid 1 game. GO RAYS!!!!!!!
  9. i wasnt sure on how the HELPED, only how they helped people make them want to win because they were from NY...
  10. yes i noticed too. probably too busy praying to the bambino to screw us up....even thoguh there is no curse :harhar:
  11. well the only good thing about tonights late start is that we can watch the yankees game too...7:05 on ESPN...i heard somewhere the rained out game today will be rescheduled for tomorrow...not quite sure though. i was skipping through channels and i heard it and forget the channel...sry, would acknowledge the source if i had it...
  12. i do too, another interesting free agent next year though is mike matheny... who knows?
  13. well with reports on the d-rays possibly not making it to the game, scratch that scheduled time for the game, although it is possible...
  14. heh heh love the new motion smilies
  15. grrr if theres a forfeit...grrrr hey selig :wtf:
  16. even more of a reason to fill the envelope with anthrax, SELIG ITS NOT THAT EASY U DOUCHE.
  17. maybe we should write a letter to the commish and tell him that hurricanes are uncontrollable. and then fill the envelope with anthrax
  18. well it doesnt look like the skanks will lose today... Waechter 3-6, 4.97 @ Hernandez 6-0, 2.62 el duques pitching against the d-rays  also for those of u who are interested, the game is at 3 on espn
  19. that can be because its a natural disaster. its not like its the d-rays fault. i mean the d-rays didnt make the hurricane... :wtf:
  20. devil rays are surprising to watch, sometimes theyre awesome, sometimes theyre bad. but even they should be able to jump on a pitcher like blowiza.
  21. yes, but remember bronson does extraordinarily well on the road.
  22. Arroyo 7-9, 4.24 @ Zito 10-9, 4.58 sorry for starting this early, but this thread could heat up a lot of talk, as the other threads fire has almost been pretty much doused. this series is a possible playoff preview with us going into oakland for the series. we face zito, who has spectacularly turned his season around. now with a +500 record, standing at 10-9, his curveball has more respect as it is still one of the most terrifying 12-6 curveballs in the majors. arroyo, too, has been hot recently with exception to his last start, which was at home, and which he does not do as well as he does on the road. my prediction: a sox victory. this team is simply unbeatable, and is on a roll. with arroyos numbers without respect, he could easily be overlooked as not a challenge. our team beats theirs in almost every position on the field, and zito, even though he has turned it around, is not the same pitcher he used to be. remember, he is the pitcher we beat in game 5 of the ALDS, and there should be some emotions flowing on that field tonight. as we now have their former ace-closer keith foulke. this will be an interesting game. GO SOX!!! and caveman, should he start, will be interesting too. :damon:
  23. i know. this is unbelievable...and with another win coming today we will be a solid 2 games within the lead
  24. lol... just noticing a dead topic on an alive thread. but that was a good post.
  25. were all glad we won, but the fact is we arent getting too cocky, we know what needs to be done to get what we want, but i understand what u think. i think today was just stupidity. schilling could have easily finished out the game with a lead like he did. francona wanted to go the other way grady little did, as yeszir already said, and i agree with yeszir, schilling should have stayed. the point is we won, and thats all that matters.
