That's exactly why we care...we only have 2 others. You can't pitch the same bullpen pitchers day in and day out. You need to be able to rely on your WHOLE bullpen in order to have an effective one. Timlin, Foulke (in non-save situations) and Papelbon are fine right now, and with MDC coming up, I have faith in him as well. I wouldn't have minded seeing Van Buren staying here and sending Seanez down to bring up MDC instead, but that's just how things work. Tavares needs to prove himself. He has temper problems and he's inconsistent. However, what I've seen out of him recently, I think this bullpen as a whole is getting better. The only problem that I have right now is Seanez. He always finds a way to blow something for you. While I think the bullpen is getting better and is a bit more solid than what people are giving it credit for, at the same time there are a lot of questions to be answered and players that need to prove themselves.
