  1. Well, if you can pitch at home, AND try to make the most amount of money that you could make out of pitching at home, why not?
  2. I think you're just pissed that the Yankees' shortstop is better than ours.

  4. Well, I mean in contrast to the views being shared here. More people disagree with you than agree so I'm just saying...
  5. Well, in fairness to them, you'd be pretty excited if you were them too.
  6. You put a hole in your wall. No pun intended?
  7. THE YANKEES LOSE. Thaaaaaaaaaa YANKEES LOSE. No more holes bitches.
  8. He's not exactly being an impartial ass. He's playing Devil's advocate, which is good to keep up debate. He's a Yankee fan, it's expected for him to take the position he is. You encourage debate, so why get on him for offering an alternate view? What he's saying is what a lot of Red Sox Nation's members are saying anyway.
  9. Hey! Go eat your crow.
  10. Update to the thread starters records... schillingouttheks: 4-1 One Red Seat: 0-1 riverside sluggers: 1-0 RedSoxRooter: 1-0 yankeessuck013: 1-1 stocker323: 0-1
  11. I haven't read the whole thread, so if this is out of place, I apologize. I agree with what Crespo's been saying in this thread. I don't see him as a traitor at all, and I would love to have him back on this team. But, as far as your quote goes, TMIMM, don't call Roger an ******* unless you've met him. Portraying someone through the TV and getting the wrong vibe from them is easy. I can say I've met Roger and experienced him in person a few times to know he's one of the nicest guys I've ever met.
  12. Sorry if this is off-topic, but I was too lazy to read the second page and I felt obliged to jump in after reading the first page....: What happened with Wells last year after his injury? I remember he got killed against the A's. He also got tatooed a few times earlier in the season, and I clearly remember one of those games being at Toronto. I'm not giving up on him yet. We still got 15 wins out of him last year despite the bad memories I just recalled. I'm a bit disappointed that the Sox are already pretty much making DiNardo start in place of Wells, but I guess I'll live if DiNardo comes up big. But, say Wells can repeat last year. 15 wins out of your number 5 starter? I'll take that ANY day.
  13. You don't remember that huge Pistons-Pacers brawl in Motown? Artest jumping into the stands....fans fighting back....O'Neal owning the s*** out of that dude..
  14. Wins: 4 Runs: 40
  15. Welcome.
  16. Yeah, but I don't think I participated in the resentment. Maybe I did. Not sure though. I just remember you being funny.
  17. I vaguely remember you, although I remember thinking you were hilarious when you originally came here.
  18. I saw the mix. I saw Pedro, Lowe, Clement, Arroyo, Schill, Burkett
  19. I do too. I really get that feeling. Not to say I'd be disappointed if he didn't come, something just tells me he'll be in a Sox uni this year.
  20. The day before I joined, the Sox beat the A's 8-7 in 10 innings because of Mueller's game winning RBI double. They also completed the 3 game sweep of the A's.
  21. Whoops double post.
  22. I could also keep a record of people starting gamethreads just for kicks. I know someone started to keep track last year but stopped. I could keep track of that and just keep a sidenote in my first post of a gamethread. schillingouttheks: 3-1 One Red Seat: 0-1 riverside sluggers: 1-0 RedSoxRooter: 1-0 yankeessuck013: 1-1

Defying the hands of time, Schilling and Moyer have combined to go 178-99 after turning 35. Following a season riddled with injuries and struggles, the 39-year-old Schilling (2-0, 1.93 ERA) has re-emerged as a stabilizing force at the top of Boston's rotation. With wins in his first two starts of a season for the first time since 2002, Schilling will try to break Boston's first losing streak of the campaign. Schilling and Josh Beckett have combined to go 4-0 with a 1.61 ERA, but Boston's others three starters are 2-3 with a 9.12 ERA. David Wells and Matt Clement each allowed seven earned runs in four innings, leading to consecutive losses to Toronto on the heels of a five-game winning streak. The 43-year-old Moyer (0-1, 4.38) will make his third start of the season for the Mariners, who are headed in the opposite direction with back-to-back wins over Cleveland after a four-game skid. Moyer received only one hit of support against Barry Zito and Oakland in his last start Sunday, taking a 3-0 loss. In a major league career that began in 1986, Moyer has racked up 205 career wins, including seven in eight decisions as a member of the Red Sox in 1996. Moyer's new batterymate Kenji Johjima has driven in 10 runs in as many games despite hitting near the bottom of Seattle's order.
