I finished all my classes in school for the day. I'm in the computer room, and quite bored. So I figure I'll just start a gamethread now to give me something to do. Wooo....Gustavo Chacin took a bad picture....kinda freaky looking. Go Sox!

Wells returns from DL as Red Sox try to continue winning streak
Toronto (3-4) at Boston (6-1) 7:05 pm EDT
BOSTON (Ticker) - Despite being without their regular leadoff hitter and center fielder, the Boston Red Sox prevailed in their home opener. On Wednesday, they will welcome back one of their winningest pitchers from last season when they host the Toronto Blue Jays in the middle contest of a three-game series.
After Coco Crisp was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a broken knuckle suffered in Sunday's win at Baltimore, Adam Stern and Kevin Youkilis capably filled in by leading the Red Sox to their fifth straight victory. Stern and Youkilis, replacing Crisp in center field and at the top of the order, respectively, combined to drive in three runs in the second inning of Tuesday's 5-3 triumph.
The 42-year-old Wells (NR), who began the 2006 campaign on the DL following right knee surgery, ranked second on the Red Sox with 15 wins in 2005. He will have a tough act to follow in his first game of the season after Josh Beckett made his Red Sox home debut by allowing just a run and three hits in seven innings.
Wells is fourth among active pitchers with 227 career wins, including 84 in eight seasons as a member of the Blue Jays.
Opposing Wells will be Gustavo Chacin (1-0, 4.05), who tied for Toronto's team lead with 13 wins as a rookie last year. In his first start of 2006, Chacin allowed three runs and six hits in 6 2/3 innings of a 6-3 win over Minnesota on Thursday.
Frank Catalanotto's eighth-inning two-run homer was one of just five hits Tuesday for Toronto, which has lost three of four games since Chacin's last start.
