  1. f*** YOU PAPELBON. Just... not even just him. What the f***?
  2. Ok, this f***ing act is really starting to piss me off.
  3. One more strike, please.
  4. Get the last goddamn out, Jonathan.
  5. PAPELBON. STOP PUTTING THE LEADOFF f***ING BATTER ON EVERY TIME. YOU f***ING *******.
  6. Lower back strain. Not sure of the severity yet.
  7. Theo should just pretend to take a 6-hour s*** or find some other way to keep away from the phone but maintain Toronto's interest and attention. That way, we can have him start tonight, and then trade him. In all seriousness, I doubt tonight's performance has any impact at all on his trade value. I would just like him to be able to start.
  8. I was at the game. Claude Julien was basically sitting right next to me. Great game to be at, made for a great rest of the night.
  9. lol. Cliff Lee is the only decent pitcher in that rotation. Period. f*** John Smoltz.
  10. 4 outs left.
  11. Dude, that's a f***ing burrito-sized doobie. Not quite that close.
  12. I just smoked a double-sized doobie. This night just got wayyyyy better.
  13. Ohhhhh aight. Nevermind then.
  14. Thanks for showing up.
  15. Isn't Buchholz out of options? He's either with the team for the rest of the year or he gets traded. Either way, he isn't going back to Pawtucket, because he sure as hell wouldn't clear waivers. Isn't this the current situation with him, or am I just wrong?
  16. Even from the reactionary posts, I still don't get the vibe that anyone thinks this season is over. I'm being realistic. This team needs a bat or a pitcher ... just SOMETHING. If they get Halladay, I'll be happy. If they decide to address the lineup, I'll be happy. We can live with our lineup as is if we add Halladay, and we can live with our rotation as is if we add a bat. Whatever Theo decides, he has to do something. The vibe I'm getting is that the Red Sox as currently constructed are not a better team than the Yankees as currently constructed, and that in order to be sure that we stay competitive, we need to make a move at the deadline. I don't think that's unreasonable, and I certainly don't think that's the same as saying the season is over.
  17. I also agree that the team we have would improve. I don't think it's going to be enough without Theo making a deal, though. My Halladay comment earlier was half-joking and reactionary, but even if we didn't address the offense but added Halladay, I would be satisfied. Any move that makes our team much better in one area is all we need, I feel.
  18. This is also what I'm trying to say, and I don't believe Jacko is incorrect here. This is way more representative of the Yankees team I expect to see from here on out. Not as good, but close.
