  1. You don't have to like it to accept it. I accept it because there's nothing that I'm going to be able to do that will stop it from happening. Baseball players are human beings, and whenever someone does something wrong, they try to save face. If Papi does the right thing and just admits it, owns it, and gives a heartfelt apology, I will forgive him. I hate to bust your balls, but science is always one step ahead, and players will just search for the new stuff that doesn't have a method of detection.
  2. I will, I just really want to know why he thinks saying what he said was even remotely close to a good idea or smart.
  3. Even more reason for Theo to get something done. This team needs an improvement from somewhere. If he can't get something done by July 31st like he did in 2006, I'm going to be very irritated. And V-Mart alone is not at all what this team needs most.
  4. Look, all I know is that Theo better have a plan. If he misses out on A-Gon and/or Halladay and is left counting his marbles because he doesn't have anywhere else to turn and the team doesn't get improved, I am going to go all "Fire_Theo" ON THIS MOTHAf***A!
  5. It was against the rules, there just wasn't any specified punishment. I think in the rules it's pretty implied that if something is illegal in the federal government's eyes, it's illegal in the league's eyes. I think there was a rule specifically stating that steroids were illegal anyway.
  6. lol probably not. Haven't seen you around lately btw... how's it goin? Back to the thread... I want Ortiz to just admit it, own it, and move on. No more denial s***. Admit it, and we can all forgive and forget.
  7. In that case, go for the femoral artery instead.
  8. Try a vein instead. Arterial bleeding is pretty messy.
  9. That sucks. I remember everyone tagged him as creating the "blueprint" to defeat the Pats in '07-'08.
  10. I'm coming to knife you if this happens.
  11. That was just amazingly bad.
  12. He's very, very lucky to only have 3 blown saves this year. s*** like this has been on the horizon for a very long time. He puts way too many runners on base. His track record was compiled when he still threw a splitter and was able to keep batters off balance. He is not the same pitcher. He pitches fastballs with hopes that the batter just won't keep up. That doesn't work in the MLB.
  13. No, but the only 2 outs of this inning are there because of two great defensive plays. Papelbon is just throwing s*** over the plate as hard as he can.
  14. Great. The f***ing Red Sox killer is up with the go-ahead run at 3B.
