    Trot is batting .091 (1-11) this year against lefties. I couldn't find the career numbers but I know they're not really good. I think I read somewhere that they do work with Trot on working against lefties, but it is just really hard for him to hit lefties. I think Roberts or Kapler would be a better option against lefties than Nixon so that would be a good way to play them.

    Francona didn't shuffle the rotation because he had felt confident in Arroyo, Lowe and Pedro based on the way they have been pitching of late. Brad Halsey is not the pitcher that Arroyo or Lowe is which is why Torre did it because their pitching is much weaker than ours. Even if Francona did shuffle the rotation he would have probably taken out Arroyo and you would have gotten the same results as Lowe would not have been taken out.

    Cabrera is in Colombia because is wife is having surgery, he should be back by Wednesday.

    Tek has been a huge factor for the entire season, unfortunately he seems to not have good success against the Yankees, it might be a matter of untimely slumps but I think when we got swept he had an awful series as well.

    From Rotoworld Derek Lowe is not expected to miss his next start. Lowe was knocked out of yesterday's start both literally and figuratively after taking a ground-ball off the shin. His bruised shin should be fine by Thursday. As said before the announcers were making a bigger deal about it than it was. When Tito took him out I didn't think it was because of the injury I thought it was more the way he was pitching.

    He is 17-6 with a 2.98 ERA and a WHIP of 1.18 those are pretty great numbers if you ask me. You're just like Empire you just make these statements and you don't back them up with any fact, you just say he sucks and you don't say why.

    Are you serious? Pavano is one of the leading Cy Young candidates in the NL with Clemens and Schmidt, I wouldn't say he sucks.

    Minnesota has a better record right now than Oakland so they'll face the wild card winner.

    Lowe is not coming back next season. He has been too inconsistent in his starts and the Red Sox management has already made it clear to him that they are going to proceed without him next season.

    I say we should use Astacio but I think the pro-yankee announcers are making it out to be worse than it is.

    It's only the 3rd inning we've got a chance to just keep pecking away at the lead. We've done it in the past and we can do it today.

    I felt the K was umimportant as it was just like a sacrifice bunt. A man on 2nd with 1 out is huge in that situation.

    Minnesota right now has the better record. But home-field advantage would be huge, not just for the division series but possibly for the ALCS.

    I don't think they're going to activate him. I think they just want him to pitch since all minor league seasons have ended. If they do activate him he would only pitch in blowouts.
