    Damon and Wells both said they were having trouble with the lights when they went to catch a ball. I don't get why they just don't have a black background.

    I don't think today's bullpen showing was as bad as it seems. Blaine Neal will be gone on Wednesday when Schill comes back so that doesn't really even matter. Halama was not as bad as it seemed also. He walked Koskie in a 10 pitch at bat, in which Koskie really fought to stay alive. He then gave up an infield hit to Hillenbrand. Hitting Hinske with the bases loaded was really the only thing that I blame him for today. I think all bullpens tend to struggle early in the season. I think it takes them longer to get into the feel of the game, because they have to get used to coming in unexpectedly. I think our bullpen will be fine in a couple of weeks. I wonder why Timlin or Embree weren't in the game in the 8th they are our best relievers and they should of been able to pitch 1 inning to keep us within 1.

    I would have too, especially after a double, not many pitchers start to get into grooves in the 7th. It could have fallen apart very quickly for him and Mills wanted to stop that before it happened.

Johnny is out today with that cut elbow from yesterday. They fixed the scoreboard by the way, they made sure that no more screws was sticking out.

    Johnny was hurt tonight running into that ugly new video scoreboard. He needed 6 stitches for a cut on his right arm, he may not play tomorrow.

    He'll be fine, all closers are having a rough patch in the MLB right now and I don't really think it's a coincidence. I think once they get settled in, they'll all get back to form.

    As of right now it is, he's scheduled to pitch tomorrow for Pawtucket. MLB.com said it would be showing the game for free and it may be on NESN since there is no Sox game. I believe it's at 2:00.

    They better hope they don't draw the Nuggets in the 1st round, them and the Bulls are the 2 teams that no one wants to face come playoff time.
