    According to the ump he escalated the situation and made it worse than it could have been.

    According to a recent ESPN the Magazine article, he feels obligated to honor his contract until it expires. I still think that Colorado may trade him because like A-Rod in Texas he is taking up a huge portion of the team's payroll and is preventing them from signing players who fill other needs of theirs. I hear he may go to Baltimore or LA.

    I think everyone is in favor of this except forFehr, I'm sure some of the players even like this idea.

    Well this shouldn't be too permanent, Bellhorn has some severe case of the flu and Vazquez has a calf injury, so with no one to play 2nd except for Mueller they had to call up Youks.

    Well I am kind of pissed off now with the latest on Schilling. But I'm not going to play the blame game. Injuries are just bad luck. We were very fortunate to not have a single starter go on the DL this year, and that was a main reason we won the whole thing. But right now I am concerned how we are going to deal with only 3 SP's on our roster and Clement has been inconsistent. The thing is though, you see scrub pitchers win all the time ex. Bruce Chen. I'd be pleased if Halama/Dinardo/Neal/Gonzalez/Other Possibilites give us 5-6 innings and keep it close. If they give up 9 runs but we score 10 I will be pleased, but they need to eat innings when they start. Our offense needs to be on its A game in this tough 2-3 week stretch, we will need as many runs as possible during this stretch, and we will also need good work from the bullpen. Now these are very big ifs, but my point is things aren't completely bleak for the Sox and I think we will be able to survive until Miller comes back.

    f*** nuts. Now I am legitimately concerned about this season. We only have 3 starters on our roster right now and Clement has been very inconsistent. Now I am willing to give Clement some more time, but things are not looking good in Red Sox Nation right now.

    Bellhorn K's. Fitting ending. Disappointing game. But not anything to be too concerned about. Only 1 game in April. Still a lot of baseball left to play in this season.

    Don't give up a game which you are losing by less than 5 runs until it's over. Especially with this offense. 1 on 2 out here.

    No. He started off a little rough last year, but he will get it together. As I said with Renteria. You cannot judge any player by 1 month.

    Yankees all over the Angels 10-3. A-Rod with a 3 home runs through the 4th inning. A 2 run homer, a 3 run homer and a grand slam. Only a solo home run away from the "home run cycle" It's never been done before. Edit: If I bothered to check the 2nd page of this thread this info wouldn't have been needed.:dunno:

    Time table for Clement is about 1 hour. I assume you're talking about Miller though, I've heard conflicting reports. One report said he may be able to start Tuesday which was Wells' scheduled start. I've also heard that he would need 2 rehab starts, one being Thursday and the other being Tuesday. Halama would start Tuesday for the Sox.
