    Who knows how long Nixon will be out for so this just adds some depth. Plus Cruz may be as good of an option if not better than Stern/Kapler. This also gives us the opportunity to give Millar more days off.

    My parents were the same way, they had just got married and my mom was a Sox fan and my dad was a Met fan. My mom sent my dad into another room during game 6. Now my dad's a Sox fan though.

    There were many plusses that people tend to forget, that trade, the Pedro trade, I'm not going to say Manny because he overpaid heavily for that but there are others.

    To open up a roster spot for someone who is more deserving than the person who will be traded. Like in Embree's case any other reliever was more deserving of a spot so they DFA'd Embree to open one up.
