    Big win for the Pats today, Ellis Hobbs really emerged as a dependable cornerback and the linebackers also had a solid game as well. It really made up for the mediocre showing by the Pats offense today. Heath Evans looked great in the 1st half running the ball, but seemed to slow down back to his normal self in the 2nd half. And as usual Brady does it in the clutch.

    Not in that ballpark. He hit .253 in a pitching park this year and Petco is even worse. IF the Padres expect him to contribute they are sorely mistaken.

    I for one am of the mindset that I don't find baseball enjoyable unless I have one clear distinct team to root for. I'm pretty indifferent about both teams which is why I haven't really been tuned in to the World Series.

    The new 3rd base coach is former Texas 1st base coach DeMarlo Hale. He was once interviewed for the Red Sox manager job and has coached in the system before.

    Time wasn't a factor? If Leinart doesn't fumble it the game is over. I think both teams coached it well. Weis had confidence in their defense that they could stop them and they just about did.
