  1. Draft Express has him going 36th to the Pacers, early second round is where a player of his caliber should be going. He's small for an NBA power forward, he doesn't have the size and frame to bang down low, he doesn't have the jumpshot to be a versatile inside/outside threat (think Glen Davis), but he does have nice hands around the basket from what I've seen. His best asset is his defense, he's long and has great timing, but I feel like he's not going to be able to be a great defender down low on the next level playing man on man, but like I said with his length and timing he could prove to be a great weak side help defender. He's a back end of the rotation player, probably will end up being an 8th to 10th guy on a good team.
  2. This team plays so much better in front of Rask for some reason...
  3. Nah we were in a premium seating type area, $180 seats for free. One of my suitemate's dad has/gets season tickets somehow (be it himself or through his company or whatever) and it just so turned out that me and a friend were talking about getting tickets and my suitemate was like dude just take our tickets, my whole family is going to Florida and I'm going to Rome so just take our seats. It was good s***. Edit: and I realize I didn't even answer your question.... we were about 'P' rows back (it goes A-P), on a corner, but they were awesome seats, only way you could get a better seat in the house would have been if they were center ice.
  4. It was fun, nice win. We had great seats, the drive down was a breeze, traffic was horrendous getting out of NY, but it was well worth it, especially with getting the tickets for free. I enjoyed being my normal obnoxious self somewhere other than in the Garden for a change.
  5. I'm headed down to Long Island for the Bruins game today.. Not much better than free $180 tickets...
  6. To put it bluntly, there's a reason this guy has been on 7 teams in his career - he's just not that great.
  7. I thought we should have let Tim go and go with Rask full time instead of overpaying for a 35 year old one year wonder.
  8. Chara: Playing well defensively, normal offensive game isn't there but he's been playing well defensively. Krej: Young player, overachieved last year. Is a second line center at best and can't be relied upon to carry a team. Wideman: He's always been mediocre. Ryder: Benefitted from Ryder and Krej having a great year last year. Thomas: If you don't think he had an abberation year last year, you're out of your god damn mind.
  9. The team we have this year is the team we are. No one's really underachieved except maybe Wheeler.
  10. Disagree. I think any objective Bruin fan would have seen that last year was an utter and complete abberation. Chiarelli should have started with bringing in a scorer, if he did that in the offseason, we wouldn't be seeing the panic we did at the deadline.
  11. The 06-07 Spurs went through a similar rough patch/identity crisis, and they won the title. It's not over til it's over.
  12. It's not done til they're knocked out of the playoffs. I have a feeling that we're coasting right now, and it'd be better for us to finish in 4th than 2nd/3rd (we wouldn't have to play Atl/Orl until ECF). It's possible we're just that bad, but as of right now, I feel like we're coasting and trying to stay healthy.
  13. He'll be a good 4th guy to have on the field who knows Brady and knows the system. He'll be able to bring more than a guy like Aiken. I like Belichick bringing back "his guys" though.
  14. Did anyone say this would be an easy game? I, for one, really didn't want to face Switzerland again, especially with a goalie like Hiller who can easily steal any game.
  15. The one where the US beat Canada in the gold medal game? Yeah, that one. Looks like Canada is on the brink of losing it's National sport.
  16. MSNBC!
  17. USA vs. Canada - Men's Hockey - 7:40 Never been this pumped for an Olympic game that had no medal on the line. http://i46.tinypic.com/2s8sidx.png
  18. Walker and Giddens aren't players who will be making an impact in the NBA, and House is a guy who is on his 9th team in 10 years. Robinson is a guy who can come in and bolster our bench scoring, which with rebounding are our two biggest weaknesses. Nate should fit well unless he faggots out and gives us character issues to deal with.
  19. And honestly, great is an understatement, too. He stood on his head.
  20. Canada just beat the Swiss in extra frames of a shootout. Hell of a game.
  21. Left me shaking my head.
  22. John Wall balls soooooo f***ing hard. Kid is going to be a stud. The "charge" on Patterson was a block. I thought it was a charge initially, but I rewound it and it was most definitely a block. I'm assuming the "Wall foul" was on his jumper when he got hit on the hand? If that's what you're speaking of, he definitely got hit. People don't miss shots that short that bad. That block for Wall was a goaltend. I can see why you would make that mistake though, it was so close. I thought something like that was reviewable though? And why is Cousins a bitch for doing the call me sign? Whoever leaked his number and were calling him are really the bitches.
  23. Canada, partly because they're home, but Russia is right behind them in terms of pure talent.
  24. I'm pumped for the ASG tonight because of my money which is on the line. More points: Durant (+5.5) over Lebron More rebs: Dwight (-.5) over Amare First team to make a 3: east (-105)
