  1. Best post you've ever made. If it hasn't been made obvious yet, Rask is our best netminder.
  2. Have tickets, am going, can't wait.
  3. Granderson could hit 40 in NY, Jackson should be very good in the NL West.
  4. By this time last night Tim had let in 5 goals.
  5. The Bruins are a better team with him in net. It's blatantly obvious.
  6. You heard it here folks, directly from the horse's mouth.
  7. Tuukka is still better.
  8. Had dinner with Ray Bourque once. Also went to his agents house to see the Stanley Cup. Good person.
  9. Losing a guy as good as Toney Douglas will do that to any basketball program that doesn't have the ability to consistently bring in blue chippers like the Dukes, UNCs, Texas', etc etc.
  10. Timmy soft goal Thomas strikes again. TUUKKAS BETTER. Edit: Thomas gets bailed out by Ryder in the shootout, Tuukka's still better.
  11. Tuukka Rask gives the Bruins the best chance to win on a game to game basis. His numbers across the board are better than Thomas'. Makes that 5 year contract look even worse.
  12. You put a gun to my head right now and ask me who the NC will be, I'm probably saying Michigan State. They're deep, experienced, super-athletic, and have great coaching.
  13. It's not going to work out. It's not a situation like Marbury's where he would easily take a minimum contract because he just got $20 million to leave a team. Iverson is looking for (1) money and (2) playing time. Playing time we don't really have to offer to him at this point, especially once Davis gets back. Perkins, Garnett, Pierce, Allen all need to see 30+ minutes, Rondo around 35, Daniels, Wallace, Davis, 20+, Williams/House 10-15. There really isn't much room to add a guy looking to get his points, start games, and play big minutes.
  14. I was a big advocate of bringing Marbury here. Iverson still has some left in the tank, but I don't think he can put his ego aside like Marbury was able to. No way in hell should he be brought here.
  15. Anyone looking to see a great fight, there's a card free on Versus right now, WEC 44 featuring a featherweight fight between Mike Brown and Jose Aldo. Should be a classic.
  16. Cole Aldrich can play... If the kids at Memphis can keep this up they could probably see a ranking.
  17. I'd make the trek for sure.
  18. atta f***in boy timmy thomas
  19. Wrong. He's getting the 'max deal' regardless of where he goes, Cleveland can just offer him more. There is no 'price driving' here.
  20. Big night for fights tonight.. Pacquiao vs. Cotto, should be a great fight. I like Pac-man here, I think he'll overwhelm Cotto with his speed and outstrike him and win on points.. Then UFC 105 free on SPIKE. Couture vs. Vera, Hardy vs. Swick, Bisping vs. Kang, and Brown vs. Wilks should all be great fights. Matt Brown and Dan Hardy are two of my favorite fighters, so I'm pretty excited for this card. Edit: UFC 105 is over in England going on right now and airing on a tape delay later on tonight on SPIKE.
  21. rogers was fighting that nice too.
  22. The japanese (PRIDE fighting) scoring system was better.. they score by damage done as opposed to rounds, but Shields definitely won this won.
  23. 3-2 shields, very nice tactical fight.
