For the people making the point that the kids are seeing this and will take after their idols as players on the field. Well, that's stupid, kids have parents for a reason, they are the intermediary between reality and TV. If Dustin Pedroia and Josh Beckett want to pack missiles, let the men do as they wish. -

What the f*** has this world come to when grown men are getting criticized for packing a lip on the field? This better be a joke or sourced from The Onion or something. -
The Stuart and Seidenberg absences are arguably equally as important as Carter and Gagne. Getting them in there would toss out McQuaid and Hunwick (and equally as important ruin the pair I've deemed as "WideWick" - they f***ing suck together and it's an awful idea to keep them together) and add in Stuart who was a rock this season, and Seidenberg, who was one of our best players since we had picked him up. I understand Carter and Gagne score the goals and blah blah blah but defense is equally as important.

Realistically, you could make a case for any of Pedroia, Youk, and Lester, but no one else. I couldn't decide between the three.

s*** happens in a series of 7 games. I honestly didn't expect to win in 5, so I'm not too upset. We gotta come out urgent in Game 6, I don't wanna be put in the situation of playing a 7th game in Barfalo.

Singlehandedly set that goal in motion. Makes defender lose his stick, gets puck back to Stuart at the point, goes to the front of the net and holds his position and sticks the rebound home. It was really one of the best individual plays I've seen in a long time.

I think Rask tonight sat Tim on the bench forever. And Patrice's play may have been the best play I've ever seen. What a f***ing game.

Thomas fans complain how everyone doesn't say anything good about him after a shutout but tonight is why they don't. He follows up a great game with a stinker. Tonight put the season in a nutshell. Thomas allows 3 goals and is yanked, Tuukka comes in and saves 19 and grabs an assist. Chiarelli's contracts are running this team into the ground. I wouldn't be surprised if it's him telling Claude to play Thomas at this point.
