    A pregame show is fine, or some sort of on the field tribute is cool. However, I don't want to be subjected to an endless barrage of interviews, while I'm trying to listen to the Red Sox game.

    I think you're guilty of comparing this offense to last year's offense. Whatever the reason, pitching has gotten better this year in the AL. The average team scored 4.9 runs a game in 2007. In 2008, it has only been 4.56. Compared to last year, this offense is kind of average, but relative to the rest of the league in 2008, they're scoring at a good rate.

    2nd in the AL. 4th in MLB. We're performing better than 26 other clubs, but this offense is always in a slump. Great point.
