    Mirabelli was lucky on this play. Harold Renyolds looked into the rule book and saw that because Mirabelli was in fair territory he should have been called out.

    Jenks has outstanding periphial statistics. If his BABIP was flipped with Papelbon's, Jenks' ERA would probably be in the low to mid 1 range.

    Tavarez is. Seanez isn't. Seanez misses bats, and has been a product of bad luck. He currently owns a .330 BABIP against him. If that number were to slip down to a .300 area, his ERA would certaintly be less.

    Tito gave his closer role to Jonathan Papelbon, and thrust Wily Mo Pena in CF. I'd say he's done a great job of using his young players. Van Buren and Delcarmen aren't in the category of blue chip talent. If he wants to use Seanez over Delcarmen, I don't see anything wrong with that.
