  1. He could also help the Patriots out on special teams. He kicked a lot of touchbacks in college.
  2. Forgot about him. I watched him play Akron in Memphis' bowl game. That kid's got some leg. Hit a 53 yard FG with absolute ease. He should develop into a great kicker. I pray for all Pats fans that Gramatica doesn't attempt a PAT, let alone a FG.
  3. I remember that. Anyway, I could see that defense developing into a strong core. Losing Law, and Abraham will put them back a step, but they should rebound strong in '07. Possibly, a playoff contender if Clemens shows enough his rookie year.
  4. Adrian Peterson, when healthy, is better then Reggie Bush. (pure running skills) I'd say, if he has a good rebound season (he was hurt, and still ran for 1100 yards) he'd be a top three pick. Quinn is probably the early favorite.
  5. Something good. I loved the Jets draft. I think that Fergueson could be the next Anthony Munoz at the tackle position, and Mangold will be a solid center for the next ten years. Plus, he slides Pete Kendall back to his natural position at guard. Something bad. John Abraham will be missed badly. I don't see the Jets defense being a strong point. (Perhaps, I'm missing something?) Also, I don't believe Cedric Houston will develop into an impact running back. He could be a quality backup though. Bold prediction: The Jets draft Michael Bush in '07, and he's their RB of the future. If I had to guess right now, I'd say the Jets finish 6-10.
  6. Jarvis Green? Him and Wilfolk make a solid rotation, but neither of them are impact defensive linemen. Harrison is a year older, and coming off a bad knee injury. I don't expect him to be what he once was. Colvin's flaws were covered up because he played on the best defense in Chicago. He doesn't tackle well, and it showed these last two years. I don't see greatness in this defense, I see average. Brady will be hard pressed to repeat another 2005. Though, the team will lean on him because their RB's aren't that good. Heh, you say that now, but just wait until Gramatica lines up for his first kick for the Patriots. You'll feel like Jack the Ripper managed to get into your colon. I know firsthand. I watched Gramatica's dreadful decline. This team is a decent team, they could go 10-6, but they aren't a 12 win football team.
  7. The Patriots won't win a Superbowl. The defense isn't close to being what it once was, the running game is below average, and that offensive line isn't going to help matters either. I think 11-5 is a bit too optimistic. Looking at the Dolphins, they've got a better running game, better receivers for Culpepper to throw to, and an above-average defense. They've got more then enough to overtake the Patriots. Also, I don't see any team from the NFC South winning more then 10 games. That's the one of the toughest divisions in football. The Falcons suck. They can't win five games. The Wild Card team out of the NFC is going to win 9 games. The only team that's really bad is the 49ers. Everyone else could win 8 games.
  8. NO!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE SUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. That kids gatorade commercial sucks.
  10. Do you have to have an exclamation point after every sentence!!!!!!!!!!1 Like OMG! (Pop ups are hit high in the air and could have a chance to hit the b-ring, maybe a foul ball)
  11. Boone with his second error. Why is Marte still in AAA?
  12. Any word on why?
  13. Smoltz has one of the better sliders in baseball. Plus he throws a good fastball, and a good split. He'd fit well in Boston.
  14. The Cubs give 1.3 million to an 11th rounder, with arm problems. Another terrible move. Firing Baker and Hendry would help move the club toward the right direction.
  15. I don't see this dominant slider that everyone keeps raving about. All he throws is that fastball, which goes right toward the middle, every time. Right now, I see a pitcher who has control, but no command.
  16. Zambrano isn't going anywhere. The Cubs are a rudderless organization, but they aren't that bad. Besides, Zambrano's going to break apart one of these days. Baker has run these guys into the ground.
  17. Why do I assume the board you speak of is redsoxtalk?
  18. Rondell White would be a downgrade for the Yankees. A BIG downgrade. I like the Rivera, and Weaver suggestion, but the Yankee fans wouldn't embrace Weaver with open arms. Though, I couldn't see the Angels trading offense away, unless they recieved something back.
  19. Even more reason for you to like it.
  20. What if you win the World Series in 2006? Would it be worth it then?
