Peterson is so good, that he could have played in the NFL in 2004. He's a 25-35 carries per game kind of guy. The knock on Bush is that he's an outside runner. Peterson can do both. He's much stronger then Bush, and though not nearly as fast, he's got agility to turn the corners. I'm not saying Bush is going to flop, but he's going to wear down. His frame isn't going to hold up in the NFL. I'd guess that Bush gives you six superb seasons, then he'll decline. He could last longer, but that depends how he's used. He's not a 20 carry running back, so to maximize his potential, he's got to be on the field as a kick returner, and sometimes as a slot receiver. If the Saints just use him as a running back, he could last longer. Peterson, however, can take a beating. For him to come in as a freshman, and almost run for 2,000 yards really shows you how special he is. I think a favorable comparison is a slightly faster Larry Johnson. I could be wrong, but if there ever was a can't miss HOF, this guy is it.
