    He wasn't in the minors, when he steam rolled through everyone. They were good enough in 2005, and throughout his career in the minors. Because he might be an ace.

    Overall, they've been hitting .268 with RISP. So, they were hitting the s*** out of the ball in April and May. This is a temporary streak. Eventually, the luck will normalize.

    He's also been caught four times. The break even rate is much higher than 75%, considering the team he's on. I agree that Abreu is slightly better, but not because of his SB rate. Maybe, but aren't we talking about the better player.

    I think he'll be convicted, but won't get six years. You're right, his career is over. He may have not killed those dogs, but those dogs were his, and the house was his. Even though the cruelty to animals is irrelevant in this case, (not what he's being charged for) the prosecutors will bring that up, which is going to absolutely kill Vick. There's enough circumstantial evidence to get him.

    That's what makes it a federal crime. If Vick had stayed in Virginia, and had the dogfight there, the Feds couldn't have gotten involved.

    No, it's not. It's a federal crime, because he crossed state lines. Dogfighting is a crime against the state, not the United States of America.

    No, but we've learned a thing or two about pitching since 1970. Pitching isn't dangerous, pitching while tired, most certaintly is.
