  1. Zenny

    info?

I don't see us keeping any of them, save for maybe one or two depending on moves we make prior to these. For the most part, they are interchangable pieces (Timlin, Embree, Halama, Payton, Mantei), players that can be readily replaced (Mueller, Millar) or huge salaries that are potentially crippling (Damon).
  2. Jennings was one of the best pitchers in the country in college a couple years back. I wouldn't be opposed to a trade for Jennings under different circumstances, but we have a buttload of starters already and we don't need a Coors Field project to work on during a pennant race.
  3. Three. He blows.
  4. As it stands now, Trot is the everyday RF against RHP's. We just have to hope that it doesn't become any worse than it is now.
  5. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2061404 Reportedly, Trotter's got a leg injury (unrelated to last year's quad incident) that will require offseason surgery. Let's hope it doesn't become anything more serious than that.
  6. Any Seattle weather reports? Just throwing conversation out there...
  7. Wade was great at the beginning then began to tail off a bit at the end there, just like last start. I'm not worried. It's going to take him a little while to get back to where he was before, but I expect nothing but damn good pitching performances from him for the most part.
  8. L-R-L-R-L-R-S-S-S. Not bad. As long as they're comfortable where they are and Renteria manages to get on base at a good clip, I have no problem with it. Trot's the better on-base threat in the 2-spot, but he's also more adept at driving in runs in the 5-spot.
  9. No big deal on the game last night. No one expected Jeremi Gonzalez to keep up the 5-6 IP, 3 ER, 6-7 K outings he was having. There's a reason even Tampa Bay didn't want him.
  10. Numero uno. He blows. He should be in AAA. f*** the one, give him a zero.
  11. Jon Garland is not as good as he's pitching. Dontrelle's ERA won't be under 2.5. Things like that after a month of play are skewing the numbers. Pitching will be up this year, but it won't be crazy like it is now.
  12. Wade Miller was one of the NL's best pitchers from the turn of the century. To put him in the bullpen would be a waste of, potentially, the best pitcher on our staff.
  13. Schilling Miller Clement Arroyo Wells/Wake- whoever's pitching better at the time
  14. You've gotta do it like this: Doo----doo Doo-doo----doo! Ly----le Ov-er----bay
  15. The way Arroyo is pitching, there's no way that he's going to the pen. Schill is going to be out longer than we think. By then, someone will need a DL stint.
  16. Lyle! Overbay! CLAP! CLAP! CLAP-CLAP-CLAP!
  17. He needed more than one AAA appearance, but there really wasn't much more for him to learn down there. It was just one appearance. I have a man crush on Theo Epstein for getting us Wade Miller.
  18. Zambrano does have 10 potential. He's only 23 and he's already dominant. 9 right now. Could be 10 soon.
  19. 8.5 Wouldn't be as great in a different ballpark with a defense that wasn't as phenomenal, but still a damn good pitcher. Damn good.
  20. 6.5. Tons of power, nothing else. He's a model of inconsistency.
  21. Foulke gets the job done. Threw a lot of pitches, though.
  22. Four. Below average on both sides of the ball.
  23. Wow. Bonderman is nails. Nixon-Ramirez-Ortiz up. No one out. Bases loaded. He gets 'em. I think that was more Bonderman's special pitching ability than Sox ineptitude.
  24. One more thing: could it be possible for the Tigers to have any more black outfielders? White, Thames, Monroe, Logan, Young. I'm not racist or anything, but three of those players (White, Thames and Monroe) are carbon-copies of each other as players. Dmitri Young is a damn good hitter, though.
  25. Where the hell did the rest of Pudge go? Jesus Christ, he looks like he's 16.
