    Ex-Yankee? He was never a Yankee. I have yet to recall him getting an out in a Yankee uniform, meaning he hasn't pitched an inning with the team. Meaning he was never a Yankee. In short, Heredia sucks.

    I wanted to see that homer from Pujols, I kind of felt that one coming when Eck had that single (similar to how I felt when Jeter had the single in Game 5, but I digress). Pujols' shot was one of the longest I've seen. I said it when the announcers were saying "Expect him to only throw sliders to Pujols in this at bat". You go after him with the fastball, at least keep him honest early in the count. Like Tim McCarver said before Jim Leyritz hit a big homerun in 1996 "If you're going to get beat, you want to get beat on your best pitch, not your third best pitch." Lidge set himself up for failure right there.

    This was one of the best I've seen, definitely. That national championship game was something else though. ND is ranked 16 in the BCS and needs to win out to qualify for a bowl. Kind of surprising considering their showing in the two major polls. I still think Texas is the best team in the country.

    So I guess baseball can be entertaining without the Yanks or Sox involved. I really wanted to see Pujols get a chance to hit there, just to see what happened. And what happened was one of those "where were you when Pujols hit that homer?" kind of things. On a side note, how do you abandon your fastball in that at bat? You are hitting 98 on the gun, and they've barely touched you. Sliders have the tendency to hang, and guess what happened. I still want Houston to win the series, but boy are the Cards going to roll with this one.

    Keep Cash, Keep Torre, and get rid of all your God damn gurus in Tampa. Let these guys in NY run the team for a year and see what happens. I find it comical that Steinbrenner puts more stock in what comes out of the mouths of businessmen in Tampa than the baseball people in NY. If we can get something back for C-Pav and Wright, do it. I'd have to do some research on this Japanese guy, but 98 MPH fastballs are always nice. If I'm not mistaken, they use smaller baseballs in Japan, which could impact his effectiveness? Just floating that one. I trust Cash to build next year's club, just don't let him go to the Phillies.

Rodriguez leads in Runs, Hits, Homers, Steals, Average, OBP, Slugging and OPS Ortiz leads in 2B, RBIs and Walks Seriously, are you that dumb? If you are going to tell me to check the stats, at least have some sort of an argument. Thank you for helping me prove my point.

    The numbers are there, and based on a 10 year span. Pitching coach deserves a lot of credit for it.

    Why I'm in favor of capital punishment for idiots^^^. If you actually read my post (provided you can read) I wasn't complaining about the call. In fact, I was agreeing with the White Sox point of view, that bad calls happen and you have to live with them. And I found it hypocritical of the Angels to be bitching about a marginal call, when they got away with one to get them to the ALCS.     NOBODY is giving Johnny Damon anything more than a 3 year deal. I think he'll stay with Boston.

    Max Kellerman was my favorite on that show. Loudmouth Yankee fan.. hmm He does 1050 ESPN Radio I believe now, I heard him one day coming home at like 7. Statboy isn't that great as the host.
