f***ed if I know, but my point is that Ramirez has outstanding K-Rates, which lead me to believe there could be something there if he gets his s*** together.
Believe me, I'm not jumping all over the Edwar bandwagon. I hope he's not on the playoff roster in the first round. I just think there's still potential there for a very good reliever. If he gets command of his fastball and stops walking hitters, he can do well. His numbers this year were too good throughout the minors to be an abberation. His MLB strikeout rate is high enough to indicate some potential about the kid.
I really don't know what the point is about Delcarmen. He's a much better and more consistent pitcher than Ramirez is? I don't see the correlation. The only reason to mention Ramirez' untouchabilty is his high strikeout rate, which he does in fact edge Delcarmen in. Ramirez strikes more guys out, but Delcarmen's been a better pitcher. If that's your point, nobody's disagreeing with you.
