Westbrook has been nothing short of dominating his last two appearances.
April 19: 7 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 0 ER, 7 K
April 25: 9 IP, 2 H, 3 BB, 2 ER, 3 K
They were both against Detroit.
My problem isn't that we have Crespo (thought I don't think he should be on the roster). My problem is that that at-bat was SUPPOSED to be McCarty's. Dave pinch hit earlier, got on base, and then was run for. NOT SMART. Keep McCarty in, because that was supposed to be his at-bat, and he may actually have gotten a hit.
That was a great post, "Albert." Quick question though: You said you were a father going to mothers against drunk driving (MADD). How does that work for you?
Also, tapes and brochures in your trunk? Not doing it for me. Funny, but no.
It's kinda cool when the games are broadcast on ESPN, but only when they're in Hi-Def. Anyone know if that's the case tonight? (Personally, I still prefer NESN)
From what I've heard, he is 1 game over .500 in his coaching career, but as has been said, it was with a pretty crappy team. I may have to follow the celtics next year. I'm gonna admit I didn't watch a single game this year.
He's playing the Cubs today, and through 3 innings, he has 7 K's, and has only given up one hit. Who got the hit? His opposing starter - Carlos Zambrano. Do the math - the complete game at this rate will give him 21 K's.
It's fun having a team with 3 potential closers (Williamson, Timlin, and oh yeah, Foulke) and 3 potential aces (Petey, Schilling, DLowe).
It's a good thing the Blue Jays are starting to come around and the O's are starting to realize their lack of pitching. Baltie was starting to scare me.
