    His final numbers 7 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 10 K's. And nothing to show for, Octavio Dotel gave up two runs in the 9th to tie the game, it's still going in extra innings now. Clemens threw 106 pitches. Piazza vs Clemens: 0-2 with a walk and a strikeout.

    Hell yeah he did. And Pedro had a pretty good outing anyway, the offense wasn't there. Yankees won today despite a great outing by Joel Piniero, who went 8 innings giving up just two, but seattle could manage just 1 run off yankee pitching. The yanks reclaim 1st place.

    Through 6 innings, his numbers: 1 H, 1 BB, 0 ER, 9 K. He's thrown 90 pitches. Clemens is the best pitcher in the game today, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

    I think coming off Arroyo's performance, Pedro should be confident and do well. Plus, Youkilis is playing again, so the sox automatically win. My prediction for Pedro: 7 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 8 K, 1 BB, plus he beans Delgado in the head once. Youkilis will go 1-2 with 2 walks.

    I think even if Mueller does produce at the plate, they'll choose Youkilis. He's a cheaper option, and is going to kick some significant ass in years to come.

    Dave Ortiz is now tied with Bonds for HRs this year, and his BA has plummeted to an AWFUL .360. God, what happened man? Anyway, he's out for a few days with back spasms, should be back soon.

    Will it be permanent? Who knows. Maybe it's just a rehab stint, maybe he's just not ready. But now Arroyo is back in action, and I for one am glad to see that. I agree with what some have been saying - Kim will be unstoppable in a few years. But give him those few years.

    I personally thinks he looks pretty dirty. Johnny's a good looking guy (I mean that in a straight way) and he shouldn't have a scratchy, unaligned beard. The hair's okay. I guess. I think it would more exciting for charity if he shaved his head, but whatever.

    I thought Wake did a great job pitching today, It was just some sloppy fielding and some quiet bats (until the end) that made it look worse. Good for him though, that was awesome.

    I'm going to choose Pedro just because of Boras. He's gonna f*** us over with Tek and D-Lo. But if it weren't for Boras, I'd go with Varitek, he's my favorite Sox guy right now.

    I am ashamed to admit it, but I have never been able to root against Clemens (unless he's playing the Sox). I'm sorry, but I love the guy. Always have, always will. No matter what happened, what he did, leaving Boston, the awful things he said, I just can't hate him. So I'm naturally happy. And I think you should all be happy he's not pitching like this for the Yankees right now.

    I agree with everything that's been said. Swearing is a part of Boston baseball There are lots of things worse than taking your kids to a Sox game.

    Ahh, I was JUST about to post that. All right, who are you, and what did you do to the real Manny? Seriously, though, this is really a great thing. I dunno if it's just to help his public image or whatever, but it's a really good thing to do. Not too many would do the same.
