  1. Not a Super Jew anymore. I'm not feeling too confident with Crespo, McCarty, and Bellhorn up in the 9th. They had their chance. Damnit.
  2. The frickin offense is taking a little Easter Sunday nap today. Guys, we faced Halladay last night, not today. You can now feel free to rip Batista.
  3. Your post just pumped me up. I'm "crunk'd"!
  4. Theeeeee Red Sox win! Great game. Great pitcher's duel. Great homers by Ortizzle, Bellhorn, and Manny. Great defense by Crespo and Kapler. Great save by Foulke. Great night.
  5. Daubach was sent down and Frank Castillo was called up as the 12th pitcher today. Also, Crespo will be leading off and playing centerfield. This might be a loooong game folks.
  6. Well the home opener is today and I know a few members here will be at this game while I'm stuck here in Florida. Introductions should be fun and hopefully Curt and Wakefield will get the loudest ovations. I hope the RSN don't go classless and boo Jones or Crespo. It's Arroyo on the hill today vs. Ted Lilly of the Blue Jays. I'm hoping Arroyo can go 7 today so we don't have to use our tired bullpen too much. 3:05 EST start time on NESN. This is the lineup I'm expecting: CF Jesus 3B Mueller 1B Ortizzle (because he sat yesterday vs. a lefty also) LF Manny DH Burks RF Millar C Tek 2B Bellhorn SS Pokey
  7. I use baseball-reference.com mostly.
  8. Shitf***!! I'm not sure who to pissed at...Jones or the umpire? Jones sucks and he reminds me of one of the Shiell/Seanez/Fox tandem we had last year. Oh well. Home opener to watch. I'm just glad that one is over. It was agonizing to watch.
  9. Is it allowed that this big tension-filled game is happening during the 4th game of the season?
  10. Wake vs. Riley Sox take 3 out of 4 if they win this one.

    Hi

Hello fellow Survivor final 4 member.
  13. Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch the game today but man am I thankful too that we have Schilling. I mean, think of the advantages. If Pedro has some bad games (which he is bound to have) then there's Schilling to stop the losing streak. Then there's Lowe, Wakefield, etc. It will be so great to finally have a deep pitching staff without any Fossums of Castillos.
  14. 161-1 Just a few thoughts on this game: - I know it's just the opener but I want badly to win every one - Pedro didn't pitch badly but his velocity has undoubtedly gone down - Pokey should not be bunting in that situation...i don't care if he's Duane Kuiper - Tito should not have run Kapler with Tek up in the 1st...it reminded me of last year's playoffs...strike'em out, throw'em out - Embree should've faced Palmeiro in the 7th and there shouldn't have been a shift on - the Cesar Crespo era has not started very well - Kapler, Bellhorn, Mueller, and Manny are the only offensive standouts in my mind
  15. WTF? A 2 out bunt with two men in scoring position by Pokey? Is it just me or is this club reminding of a NL club with Pokey in the 9 hole?

  17. Oh great a Blue Jays fan! Hey Ren.
  18. Less than 45 minutes!! I was just watching a little Baseball Tonight and I'm so ready.
  19. Not only is this a big acquisition for the Dodgers, it's huge for the Guardians too. They get rid of someone they wanted to and get in return the best hitting Dodgers' prospect in Gutierrez. But it's not like the Tribe are short on young outfielders (Gerut, Escobar, Sizemore, Ludwick, Crisp, and now Gurtierrez).
  20. I'm definitely fine with that prediction, considering it's very realistic also.
  21. The job is Kim's unless he falters or Arroyo is awesome while Kim's on the DL. Personally, I'm not sure who'd I want in the 5th slot in the rotation. I haven't seen Arroyo in a starter's role in anything other than Spring Training, so we'll have to see how he does there. Kim did pretty well as a starter last year and I'm hoping he can do a little better. All I ask out of our number 5 guy is mediocre number. 12-10 with a 4.00 ERA is fine with me.
